guarantee that engine was knocking, slipped sleeves are very common in those buick engines from the looks seems like the case. You can just feel for the ridge or those things are easy to remove the oil pan even in the car you can see the shiny portion of the wall where the sleeve has been slipping up and down.
can this be fixed with anything or you just chuck it out an get new one?

Pressure is not to exceed 40 psi. However i believe we were hitting right around 15 psi when the leak started squirting.
