I'll agree Guitar Hero jumpstarted the recent music game craze. But to call Rock Band a cheap rip off is a farce.

Harmonix Devoloped Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero 2, and the 80's expansion. They were then acquired by MTV Games, for which they created Rock Band.

If anything, this new Guitar Hero is an imitation of it's original creator's new project, Rock Band.

The reason I liked GH more than RB is because it was just pure guitar. You could rock-out without any distractions. RB is fun as a party game but its not that fun for a hardcore gamer such as myself and many others.

GHWT is a thumbs down, just get rockband if youre into those kind of games.
