  • Nice man, Havent seen you in ages but its looking good, I must admit I tried a TA02 with some slightly softer tires and in RWD on wood it drifted but this looks way better!

  • @Swiftsuper1600 Thanks man, actually I'm using a Ofna/Hong Nor "JL10e" now, sounds wierd but it's actually an OK mid engine chassis. I increased the steering lock, and it's a RWD champ, much easier to drive than the VDF :)

  • @ps13boy gyro is something like this steering assist like if u are sliding towards the left,ur wheels in front will counter steer it.it actually happens in the real life drifting cars

  • @Theboysays Yeah thanks, I did a bit of research, have a heli gyro now, and yes it does help a lot. But...I feel like it is still kind of cheating...

I am tuning another mid ship chassis now which seems much better, can drift it with no gyro as good as the VDF with gyro, so I'm pretty happy :) ...will do another vid soon...

  • @ps13boy err it's a type of tire which is made of plastic material.can almost last u forever.it's actually a very hard material(of course) and it is actually kinda so called drifty LOL

  • dude thats awesome :D i want one me but not sure what i'm supposed to be looking for in these rc cars they're bit confusing lol

  • hey, ps if u make a exhaust pipe like the other one you made ill buy it from you for $20. so how bout it:????????????

  • @raycalparts seriously did it show that comment 4 times, because that was my 1 comment I ever posted on here. Unless YouTube stuffed up again. I couldn't see it 4 times on my screens.

  • @raycarlpars Thank you anyways. Will have a look again after new years.

  • @raycarlpars Was that last part really Needed. Why I was asking, was because I put up a Post in the RCDrift.org forums awhile back when a few of us were trying to find these and Know one, including Dave knew where to find them from memory. Don't be a dick we are all here to try and help each other out.

  • @Sabreon91 had to create a new account. screwed up majorly when i set up my new android phone lol. how do you expect people to react when you ask the same quaestion 4 times? if you messed up when posting it then fair enuff but then theres a remove option for those 3 extra posts. sorry if i sounded like a dick but seriously....4 times? im trying to help out mate. but yeah 4 times is a bit much for the exact same question.

  • @raycarlpars Thanks mate!

  • Errr u using plastic there?

  • @Theboysays Yup, Tamiya Super Drift Techs. Fronts wrapped in insulation tape.

  • Thts awesome! Any thoughts of trying gyro?make it more realistic

  • @Theboysays I'm not even sure what you mean mate, but very interested, do you have any links etc?

  • were do you get these scale size cars at? plz answer!

  • @adamlocke2 It's a 1:10 scale touring car chassis. Easy to get at most hobby stores or online...

  • Very good.

  • Yeah true, I tried adding weight to the front but kept washing out and understeering. It's got 40 grams hanging off the rear gearbox. Seems to be easier to control with body shell on and interior in too.

  • @MrRealSteal Thanks bro, of course I did cut out some spins and understeers though...lol

I reckon can get around about 80% without spinning, still need more practice and setup...

  • @ps13boy :)

  • All the videos I've seen run a ton of weight in the rear for more traction. It also helps that they are on carpet for better slide control. Keep up the good work Dave! Blaze the trail for us! LoLz!

  • you running rwd without adding weight to the front ? cause i dont see any...

  • @kinkdu Yeah, so far on this surface which is quite grippy, I haven't found more front weight helps much, but then I'm new at this, I want to try get it working with rubber tyres on concrete, which might be a differnt story...

  • Where did you get your orange dots from in NZ.

  • @Sabreon91 Sorry, late reply! I got those on rcmart.com They come with those peg things which I changed to look like road work markers.

  • @ps13boy Thanks Dave, Might get a few packs in.

What is RC Mart like for shipping to NZ, hassle free easy to deal with.

  • @Sabreon91 Yup, never had any problems except one time courier post lost a parcel at the depot for a day. The only thing with those yeah racing dots is that they have a little knob thing around where the hole is that my chassis used to get stuck on a lot, so I grinded those off with a dremel.

  • Where did you get your orange dots from in NZ Dave.

  • you seem pretty good at it already. ive been trying to get a good set up goin for about a month now. im not sure what works. what chassis you got? im running a yokomo drift package

  • @hobotechMASTER It's a Tamiya VDF. So the usual CS mid front motor setup.
