  • There are a lot of lies in the books, including the ones that are by friends with no reason to lie. This has somethinhg to do with the reason he went to Witness Protection. Do not expect it to make sense. Jim was an intelligent, sensitive, sweet, even somewhat decent young man, although some things he did were really not so good. But I expect that he is still much the same about some of those things, and I hope so, and perhaps wiser and still learning.

  • ...would have cost more money than he had and he wouldn't have had anything left to live on, going through the European capital of "fine" living like that, when an abandoned car or boat is the usual way.

  • TheGreatStonedOne: we live in dangerous times, don't we? Jim had Jewish friends, including Robby. I doubt that Jim's father was fighting Israel. As for his death, Jim went into witness protection, against his will, but it did keep him out of prison, where he would likely have died. To have faked his own death...h

  • The "Doo-ers"?

  • Now it's gonna be Ray in leather pants. I used to respect this guy. What a fucking sellout.

  • Hi! This is Montgomery Shrapp. Check out our song "Jim". It´s dedicated to Jim Morrison&The Doors.

  • wow Ray is still alive

  • @TheGreatStonedOne, well it doesn't surprise me what you say. Most people who make comments like you do are Jews themselves who are desperately trying to keep this information from the public. Admiral Morrison was in fact in a fight with Israel over their attack of the USS Liberty which killed 34 sailors and wounded 171 more. If you have interesti, you should check an article out about Jim Morrison's death at erichufschmid(net) enter, "The Strange Death of Jim Morrison."

  • @starfiref94c Yeah. Why don't you take off your tin foil hat and get a life you fuck. And uhh...I'm not a jew.

  • oohhhh jim comming

  • I would pay anything to have lived in the 60's

  • @KeiraAndCamille It sucked!

  • There is some new information about Jim Morrison's death at erichufschmid(dot)net. Enter, "The Strange Death of Jim Morrison." The article says that his father was a US Navy Admiral who was in a fight against Israel for their attack of the USS Liberty which killed 34 and wounded 171 American sailors. It also says that the Zionist Jews murdered JM as retaliation for his father's stance against Israel. The article also says that Jim Morrison may have been standing up to the criminal Jews too.

  • asshole

  • @starfiref94c

    *facepalm*

  • @starfiref94c That is the most retarded thing I have ever heard in my entire fucking life.

  • @TheGreatStonedOne Lol. Agreed.

  • Where do you leave "Morrison Hotel"?

  • that girl has such an annoying voice.

  • The opening song is Break on Through.

I think Ray's beef with Stone's 'documentary' is that it is not entirely accurate. As a fan of the Doors and of movies, I enjoyed it, but if you want a really good 'true' story, read No One Here Gets Out Alive.

A common misconception of this band is that it was all Jim. The Doors were a truly collaborative band with each member bringing something special and unique to the table. Every member was highly specialized in what they did.

  • Youre quite right, after all it was Robbie that wrote "light my fire"probably their best known hit.

However you must admit that Jim was one hell of a frontman, looking and behaving the way he did,one wonders if they would have done quite so well with a different singer?

  • The doors have a new singer now and have for a while. Doors of the 21st Century..blah blah

  • people are strange is the best documentary/film so far in my opinion

  • i like the oliver stone film.. it may not be fully true but i think its enjoyable for any doors fan

  • do u like the Movie? it´s totally fake the history! a lot af the scenes was not happened really... Oliver Suck!

  • Comment removed

  • wait a minute did the documentary come out if it did what is it called

  • IT's Not Out yet. it should be out sometime this year i think it's Called " WHen You're Strange"

  • indygorowe. on you-tube,a fla 90's band greatly influenced by the doors.check'em out..

  • WHAT SONG IS THAT IN THE BEGINNING!!

  • break on through

  • Break on through(to the other side)

  • My dad loves the doors so do it :D They made THE STUFF XD NOW THATS CLASSIC ROCK

  • Good stuff!

I'd like to get the dvd of the documentary AND the boxed set.

I wish I knew what Ray's REAL beef is with Oliver Stone's film. As someone whose enjoyed the work of both Stone AND The Doors as well as read up on them, I DONT see what was so wrong about the film.

The biggest thing that I noticed about it was that since controversy WAS Stone's middle name at the time, the fact that he DIDNT get into the issues about Jim maybe faking his death I found interesting and curious...

  • sorry dude this is kinda late since you sent this 4 months ago but what i think rays deal with oliver stones movie is it made jim look kinda like a ass and the boss and always on drugs and the band kinda pussyish and all like jim you have to stop that and stuff and in real life the were not like that they all were always high its the little differences i think basically

  • Thanks SeanK0809 I appreciate your perspective. I guess that Ray and the others figure THEY didn't get enough screen time in the Stone biopic but like it or not(And clearly they DONT)Jim WAS the star of The Doors and the one that people were intrigued with then AND now.

  • big wow ! get it

  • i want more information!!

    thanks btw

  • so whats that documentary their talking about????by the way cool video!
