Manualling doubles/triples etc is the fastest way to jump, end of. Why do all the pros use this technique? The longer/higher you are in the air, the more speed you loose. Manualling creates that "slip on the ice" feel b4 finding your balance. With the right balance while you're travelling on your back wheel you increase speed.
