What I loved about this game was that it showed we can snap a winning streak at will and beat them as if they were just another conference foe (which Iowa already really only was). Hopefully Penn State uses this as inspiration to beat Michigan in 2008.
Also, the Indiana game I mentioned earlier was great. Not as close as the score (PSU led by 12, Indiana came back for a garbage time TD and PSU was ready to strike again, so the 36-31 is very misleading), but still exciting.

Iowa had a five game winning streak over Penn State, not a seven game winning streak. Before 2007, the last victory over Iowa was in 1999. Penn State actually has an 11-9 edge overall over the Hawkeyes.
Many games that Iowa won were decided by a touchdown or less, while many of Penn State's victories were strong wins, with some even being blowouts. Iowa has always been a thorn in Penn State's side, but I wouldn't exactly call it "owning" penn State. "Owning" is what Penn State does to Temple. Until you can post 47-0 and 31-0 beatings over Penn State on a regular basis, I wouldn't exactly call it domination.
That and the Indiana game were awesome. The Indiana game was awesome because it proved that even when Indiana's having a good year it can't beat Penn State.
I predict in September, Iowa will get their asses handed to them in prime time in Beaver Stadium.
