So how exactly does a lie detector test determine the degree of which he hit his daughter? If they asked did you ever hit your daughter, and he says no, but he has maybe slapped her hand or arm or somethingf, then of course it says he lied, then Steve freaks out and starts screaming 'You hit your daughter!!' A lie detector tells you a simple yes or no , asking something like have you ever hit your child is pretty vague, a lie detector cant determine certain things. Courts wont even use them
