Its actually latin for god from the machine-its not greek. the romans DID, although get it from the greeks, as the romans overtook the greeks when they made their empire.
Although I think that your review was fairly insightful however, you said "uhh" far too much durring a large ammount of the video.
Perhaps if you went threw everything that you were going to say several times and edit in the best parts of each take into a final video to make you seem more confident in what your relaying to the viewer.
You are correct but sadly, I DID go over what I was going to say and DID edit in the best parts! Believe it or not, my videos have improved over time. Thanks for the feedback.
The postmodernist irony of looking up deus ex machina in Wikipedia (an internet soure) in order to do a kind of YouTube review of God, Inc 6 (an internet entertainment) is something Jean Baudrillard must be enjoying in Heaven (or Hell, or Purgatory, or Limbo).
I like Andy's Talmudic commentary.
Each generation recreates an image of God/Allah/Dao in terms of its own understanding of everyday life. For Emile Durkheim God is "society" (the collectivity).
I am teaching comparative religious studies and I used God,Inc in class for some comic relief. Andy's commentary is quite funny, perhaps unintentially!
My main academic interest these days in semiotics, particularly C. S. Peirce's semiotics, particularly Peirce's triadic epistemology. God is a Sign!
We have seen your responses and love each one. The cats and best of all the resume's are great touches. Keep up the good work, Love the Levy/Tocker household
p.s. u should put ur cats on more there cute as heck. :) :P (:@ (:> also from the middle child

I like your review. You seem a very smart man. I have two questions for you. Do you believe in God? Are you Jewish? Thanks!!

Where is your cat today?

If you look real carefully toward the beginning of the video, you'll see the blur of a cat jumping past the camera.
