why does he keep saying "Ahkka-man"? It's AQUAman. Also, Aquaman is strong, but not Wonder Woman strong. Wonder Woman is just below Superman in terms of strength. His level of super strength is around Spider-Man's level in Marvel, a little above that. He's strong enough that he put J'onn disguised as Superman on his ass with one punch, but not strong enough to hope to win a fight with someone that strong.

Maybe an Aquaman Secret Origin? Green Lantern Secret Origin was a great introduction for anyone who's new to Green Lantern. But I totally agree that this character needs to be revamped.

well the real problem is writing aquaman he is appendix , he the strongest and weakest character but most things happen on land as well fish not having interesting thing to say but marvel remedeed this fact by placing namor in world war 2 so he is historical otherwise he just very basic character and he is blonde

Two things to say.

First off, you really should give "Sword of Atlantis" a look. The best Aquaman series since the early eighties mini.

And there's another reason Aquaman is awesome that you didn't mention: He's a lady's man. Mera and Dolphin are both total babes.

I don't know the whole situation with "Artie Jr." but how can anyone boycott a comic written by Kurt Busiek. I think everything he's done is fantastic, like Astro City and that Clark Kent story. I'd read his Aquaman book if I could find it. Most booksstores boycott Aquaman in general haha.

You really should. Many of the trades in his Astro City series are probably as good as "Watchmen". It's tone is really unique for a superhero comic and kinds of feels like "Watchmen" crossed with Robert Kirkman's "Invincible" universe. He also did "Marvels", which was Alex Ross's excellent breakthrough comic about the Marvel universe through the eyes of a photographer and "Superman: Secret Identity", which is about Clark Kent growing up in a world where Superman is a comic book icon. Good stuff

Aquaman can be quite powerful like remeber in Morrison's run on JLA, Aquaman was able to mentally kill a White Martian because it had small strains of aquatic DNA. Also didn't at one time, his mystical left hand could sunk moisture out of things so that he could live on land longer.
