This Codell guy is quite new for me so I am not absolutely sure but is he not reffering to Islamic fundamentalists? IF that is the case I agree with him on majority of what he says here. Fundamentalist , and I mean all of them Christian ,Islamic or any other should be treated with Contempt as religion itself.

In this Video, Pat is talking about community. I think you're safe to say that he is part of the british community, so there you'be got your "we". He is impying that as a community there is a certain amount of values and laws as a common denominator. If someone wants to join into this community and condems these morals and values, it just wont work out, common sense, isn't it?
I'm not a racist, nor is Pat. He is fond of human rights and a secular government, as am I, as should you.

We don't need a police force or prisons because we all share the same 'values'. No communists, socialists, nazis, liberals, conservatives exist. Just a homogeneous group sharing the same values.

@DYORPEEPS Thank you for answering. No, really! I care to specify those values indeed if you as me to. First, there is democracy, I think that is pretty much a common value in the UK, too. (I wouldn't know for sure since I'm german, but in germany any organisation aiming against democracy is outlawed), this, of course, excludes nazis, but they're already here so you can't ask them to stay away, and they got nowhere else to go since noone wants them.

@DYORPEEPS A second thing is freedom of speech. You're free to criticize almost everything and utter any opinion, as abhorrent as it may be, without being persecuted by the law. (excluding nazi content in germany).
Of course there is lawbreakers, but most lawbreakers prefer, for example, not having their hands cut off for stealing. There is a difference between abusing a system for your own benefits, and trying to turn your own religious beliefs into laws.
