  • Better than cartoons today

  • how the hell did he become so...dark

  • We start with the first, silly, budget-batman from the 60's, and as we move closer to the millenia the series becomes progressively darker, culminating in Batman beyond by the millenia. But then we begin moving towards the silly faster than ever, and now we're at the brave and the bold, which, i dare say, is even more silly than the first series.

    WHAT HAPPENED?

  • batman beyond by far (in my opinion) the best opinion to a batman

  • Batmite???? What horse shit!

  • @KyleAllen2717 hahahahahahaha

  • FART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1:13 *O*

  • wth robin and batman no have eyes xDDD

  • @Ganon40000 they use echo location lol XD

  • batman beyond has the best opening ever

  • You know, it starts off awful, then it becomes awesome (Batman TAS), and then it slowly becomes worse again. This is showwise, the later shows do have some good intro's. But the content is not nearly as good as Batman TAS.

  • @RManRik just depends on when ur born, and how u view it too, id consider the first one rubbish lol but for some1 who sees it then it was super dooper cool man lol, and i love brave and the bold with its old skool style and its funny along with some others, but u get my drift

  • Wow the second one must have caused a lot of seizures

  • 8:35 Batman dat ass. Right after Babs too. Whut. XD

  • so over the last thirty some odd years there's only been twelve different animated batman TV series? huh I thought there would be more than that!

  • @ChaosKeyBlade27 Facepalm

  • @ChaosKeyBlade27

So why are on the list of top 100 series such as Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Neon Genesis Evangelion?

  • @ChaosKeyBlade27

Naruto must be in top 10!

  • @ChaosKeyBlade27

Which animated series is the first place?

  • ha ha bat mice

  • You left out the third season opening to the 60's show. (the "Batgirl" version)

  • riddler: what!! real men use pink

  • Really great compilation. Thanks for putting this together. You missed one show though: The New Batman Adventures (1997) . Technically tied into the original animated series, but a whole different intro involving Nightwing.

  • they should make a batman anime

  • @Gamervision1 actually i think they did

  • @GV511 yep they it's called batman gotham knight a direct to dvd film

  • @Gamervision1 They did. It's called "The Big O".

  • If people would ask me who is my favorite actor as Batman, I would say Kevin Conroy... who did a consistently great job in the role for at least ten years.

Met Bruce Timm in Chicago at Wizard World. A very nice person.

  • CATpunch1,I enjoyed your compilation so much,I forgot to complement your great work. And thanks for posting! :D

  • Batman TAS: NO opening titles! NO credits! NO spiel! How BALLSY was that??? FAN-EFFIN-TASTIC!!!

  • Best to worst of this series:

    1.- Batman TAS

    2.- Batman Beyond

    3.- The Batman

4.- Batman The Brave and The Bold

    5.- Batman 60s

6.- The Adventures/ New Adventures of Batman & Robin

7.- Batman with Robin The Boy Wonder

  • 3:11 beginning of the badass Batman Era with the end at 6:55

As long as kevin conroy is bruce wayne ........ I m there

  • i love how it gets more serious with more action and better animation each time.

  • Anyone think about the crime rate today compared to the crime rate in the era of these shows?People that grew up watching these shows have more respect for others. I notice that a lot.

  • The legend of dark knight begins at 3:12.

  • I like the animated series compared to the others because Batman was more of a dark character true to the comics. The Brave and the Bold is bringing the character back to being corny and campy.

  • @memyself2k you're acting like the light heartiness is a bad thing. Campy is what made The Dark Knight popular in the first place.

  • @boondocks43 Yes, my opinion now is based on my adult self. The campy got my attention as a kid.

  • Well.

Thanks, Batman and Robin, for that near epileptic fit there...

  • My rating of these openings: Batman TAS is epic and obviously #1. Batman Beyond's is an excellent #2 w/ the opening for the Batman Superman coming a close second. The Adventures of Batman and Robin was good, just kinda generic (great music, tho). Brave and the Bold is OK as it gets across the more "fun" energy that the show has. The intros from The Batman I hated, as the first one sounded like it kept building up to nothing and its other two were just obnoxious. The sixties and seventies... yuck

  • nooooooooooooo not brave and bold it is a discrace

  • @ANTIcoFilms Not really, I mean it aint the first time a Batman cartoon was goofy

  • @pokemonpoacher

well none were as bad as this its worse than th 60s

  • 3:11 a really godlike Opening don`t need a voice just music,

sit back and enjoy the very best opening of all

(sorry for my english i`m german)

  • Wow! Really great compilation!

    I must admit that my memory of the batman cartoons only reaches from the 1992 batman - which terrified me as a little kid - to the first one after batman beyond... ^_^;

The one series I would have hated from the very beginning is the one with this purple bat-... what? I'm sorry, I didn't get it acousticly.

It just doesn't fit the whole batman theme and on top, I really can't comprehend why people at some point felt like superheroes needed a stupid sidekick!

  • i love how the animation is improving over time

  • @cavad only sad thing is after batman beyond the art style gets shitty

  • @zerovone i loved the art style of the batman

brave and the bold is alright since to me it looks like its for kids

  • Batman: The Animated Series is the best cartoon...

  • @VidekanicMarko

    totaly dood

  • i loved the "Batman Beyond" and "The Batman" ops the most but the older ones which i never heard arent bad either
