Rarely do I miss church, I am devouted to Christ and Christianity. I don't believe it's much different then how a nun or priest gives their life to God. This life is short and I strive to do what I can to Please God/Jesus. Engaging in things that he has said not to do, is something I try not to do. But we all fail and I have as well. God is really the only one we need to answer to and if you feel your not wrong then that's between you and God

I was not a victim but I feel for those who are and I left the church because I became saved and there is no truth in Catholicism. God gives you opportunities to repent. once your dead you have no more chances to do so. read Luke 16:19-31. the rich man dies in his sins and goes straight to hell. he doesn't go to any kind of purgatory. the passage never metions a purgatory. please show me any passage in the bible, just one that metions or talks about any kind of purgatory. back up your claims of purgatory with scriptures from the bible.

please respond with a passage from scripture thats in the holy bible not from 2 maccabees (which is not in the holy bible) it doesn't make sense. how can preyers save the dead. those who die and are saved will go to heaven. there is no need for them to be cleansed some more, they were already cleansed by the blood of Jesus when they go saved. if they tell you that you must go to purgatory fist to be made perfect they're lying to you.

whats the point of bieng good christians now if you will just be made perfect when you got to purgatory. couldn't you just continue to do sinful things thinking that "it doesn't matter because in purgatory i'll just be made perfect and it'll all be ok." they dont openly say do bad things and in purgatory you'll be made perfect so dont worry. but alot of catholics have that idea. they think that because they are generaly good they'll go to heaven of atleast purgatory and from there heaven.

but these poeple are only lying to themselves. you must repent and be born again to see the kingdom of heaven. the catholic church will tell you that no one can be assured they will go to heaven when scriptures tells us that you can be assured. Jesus says who shall ever believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. he made that promise to us! and the catholic chruch tells you, you cant be assured of going to heaven. why? if Jesus himself told us we have that assurance.

It is not in the bible but was intepreted through miracles over the centuries, that implied the exisistence of the purgatory. Also purgatory like i told you before is for special cases... like the man who is good but acccidentally gets drunk and dies in a car crash, he cant go to heaven since he was reckless and could have harmed someone and also he would not go to hell since he gave himslef in body, spirit, and in mind to jesus!

i'm sorry to say but the catholic church is not the true church of christ! they tell you that peter was in rome and was first pope and thats a lie! how could Peter be the first pope when Paul was the first to preech to the romans! paul says "it has always been my ambition to preech the gospel where christ was not known, so that i would not be building on someone else's foundation." (Romans 15:20) Peter could not have been the first pope! why would the catholic church tell you otherwise?

most of those cathedrals were built during the middle ages most of the new ones do not cost that much also the vatican gives the most money per country size to poor nations for food and education. Rarely do I miss church, I am devouted to Christ and Christianity. I don't believe it's much different then how a nun or priest gives their life to God. This life is short and I strive to do what I can to Please God/Jesus. Engaging in things that he has said not to do, is something I try not to do. But we all fail and I have as well. God is really the only one we need to answer to and if you feel your not wrong then that's between you and God

Gambling is Gambling and getting drunk is just what it says. and every Catholic Church in my area has a picnic on the property where these activities are encouraged. If you don't understand these activites are not Christian like then I guess that's your problem. And no my church does not engage in that kind of behavior as we try to follow the Word of God. What people do in their own homes I don't know and that is between them and God.

My Family are devout Catholics and I also attended Catholic schools. So yes I was raised in a True Catholic home and that is why I left the Catholic Faith. In and out in 1 hour, the only part I couldn't recite every Sunday was the Gospel, no room for God's spirit to enter and if he did he had better be out in an hour as everyone was ready to leave.
I'm sorry if you can't see the truth and I pray God will show you but if not we still have the belief that Christ died on the cross for our sins.

fine, but shouldn't the basis and teaching remain the same. If not then there should be branches off Catholism for what people like/dislike or rules they follow or don't. I am a Christian, I see that in bible although I have yet to find scripture relating to Catholism. The only scriptures that come to mind on Catholism are those of Jesus speaking to the Pharissee's. I'm not saying Catholism is Satanic, I'm saying that Catholics waste alot of energy on rituals/doctrines that aren't scriptual.

Because, like I said, we don't use only scripture, we use tradition handed down as well. And I know that there are Catholics who do exactly what you said, that is their sin, not THE sin of all catholicism. There are probably people doing that in your church, but you just missed it the day you didn't show up for gambling night.

Kevi I believe we are in reading the same bible. I was raised Catholic and until I started to dig deeper into the bible and search for truth I had actually left the church completely. I am a Christian now by God's grace and revelation. Although I know the strongholds attached to the Catholic Faith. I deal with it daily from my Catholic Family and yet I am unable to even ask questions as to why they believe what they do. The answer I get is anger or because. When all I ask is they read the bible.
