P.S. My copy of volume 2 does have the "authentic" seal, however my copy of volume 3 does not and that's weird. I think Tokyopop just makes the occasional printing mistake.

You might want to try out Chobits, Marugoto Anjyu Gauken, Tenchi Muyo, Mai Otome (Manga version), and I can recommended more.

I don't know about you but I think that the manga should have been longer. I thought it was messed up that they introduced a new character in the last two chapters and they didn't continue with it, I mean come on whats the point of a new character if your not gonna do anything with it.

I gotta say that shinobu is my favorite character. If naru and keitaro hadn't made that childhood promise to each other, shinobu and keitaro would have made a great couple.

Good review. Yup, It's a great Series. I watched the Anime first though so I can't really compare that well. Naru's my fav personally. Are they still making these or did they quit like they did the Anime.

I started with the anime as well, that why I was so shocked to see how different things were.

The manga was finished a long time ago; 14 volumes total with a time skip and a full ending.

I have all volumes of Love Hina also and i took a look at them all, my volumes 2 and 3 don't have the 100% Authemtic Manga seal on them ... Weird.

Never heard of it. If you look on my channel, I keep an up to date list of anime/manga I've seen/read and what I think about them.

And that's kind of my point; why waste money on manga you're only going to read through once, when you could find one that you'll reread constantly to spend the cash on?

But im wondering why the love hina christmas special wasnt even happening in the manga ... it was such a great moment too in the end .

in the manga it was like a short glimpse about the coat and thats it.

But what they did in the anime is really amazing , props for that .

The reason for it is due to the celebrate christmas a few times already in the manga, in the anime version it was done as a way to tell all the christmas tales in one go.

it sure is a much longer read than chobits , if i take and compare 1 volume .its kind of funny how much they talk in there , always about some random stuff considering actually they dont have a lot to talk about.

well the 9th volume actually had me laughing out loud , volumes before were alright i suppose .

The anime was great even though it barely followed the manga. The anime ended around the end of the 9th book and I believe that there are 22 or 23 out now. I think that they should have waited a bit before they made the anime.

No, in the last three episodes (Dubbed, Love Hina: Again), it ended the series off with Keitaro and Naru just flying to Tokyo-U. If you did see the whole series, you'd know that.

i'd have to disagree. i wouldn't call myself a "mainstream whore" because i dont really care for too many shows like Naruto and Bleach, plus Akira is one of my all time favs. But i do enjoy Death Note because of its suspenseful story and its creative theme. plus i only got into it a few months ago while most of the show had already aired, so i wasn't at all seeking it out. But after watching the 1st 2 episodes since it was on demand, i was hooked, which i consider surprising for myself.

I agree with you on everything on Love Hina, and it is a great manga to look at. This is the first time I seen a plot like this also my favorite fantasy girl on here is Shinobu Maehara and did you know Ken Akamatsu is working on a new manga called Negima! Magister Negi Magi. You should check it out.

I actually rather didn't care for Negima!. The characters felt no different then the characters in Love Hina, and the concept behind it was weak and unoriginal. Not his best work.

well the top binding either has a small robo head or the red square with the big robo head and i think they are differente editions so thats probably why the authentic manga wasnt in the 2nd one you have
