  • yo penn why cant i see most of your videos ? thats just fucked up

  • @impulsetospit Penn's videos will be available in the UK by the end of March. Thanks for asking.

  • @pennsays thanks for telling me ;)

  • @impulsetospit You got it. Hopefully we'll see you then! :-)

  • WHERE IS PULP FICTION!?!

  • I don't remember the speech in the beginning of "Good Night And Good Luck" mentioning the whole "telling the masses how to think", but it doesn't surprise me that it's there.

  • I've tried looking for what Penn was talking about, and I haven't found it either. I wonder if this like when got The Shawshank Redemption and Jacob's Ladder mixed-up.

  • 58 movies ! ? , that is a huge amount of videos to be watching inside one year.

  • That's only about 1 a week, sounds pretty normal. I'd say alot of people probably watch more than that on average.

  • Tnias, your right of course, it just surprises me that's all. its a massively common way to spend time apparently.

bizarrely i cant watch this video now because its redistricted in my country. i thought this was pennsays talking about his daily life (and his bass playing "relationships") i remember the video.

  • Beyond The Valley of the Dolls has to be one of the most underrated movies in my humble opinion.

  • "They Live!" is great fun. I loved that movie, and that great fight between Keith David and Roddy Piper.

"Invasion" I skipped. The orginal movie is better.

"The Omega Man" was the best adaption of "I am Legend", way better than will smith's movie.

I have to see "Zombie Strippers".

  • Amen to the Zombie comment. If anyone can save the horror genre, it will be Rob Zombie.

And House, Bones and Numb3ers are the only reasons I ever even occasionally venture towards network TV.

  • Rob Zombie is a hack. Anyone who rips on Carpenters version and then tries to make his "own" version is an ass. All Zombies films are the same, boobs and ass!

  • You realize that Carpenter and Co. approached *HIM* about doing Halloween, right? Of course you don't. The words are just tumbling out of your head and onto the keyboard.

  • T&A. It's what makes the world go 'round.

  • Hated Jacob's Ladder? That's like my favourite movie.

  • Me too, one of the best movies I have ever watched.

  • A NEW P&T SHOW!? FUCKIN AWESOME!

  • haha you can tell he's an illusionist/magician for a living, look at the way he does hand gestures its freakin cool

  • Num-three-ers?

Dude., that's an awesome nick name.

  • I can listen to you talk for days brotha

love to have a convo with ya be hella fun

  • I think it's John Cusack, not Downey in City Hall

  • I maybe saw about 1/3 or maybe a 1/4 of the movies from the list.

I'm glad that I at least have "In the Shadow of the Moon". Gotta be one of the best documentries on Apollo. A funny story is part of the special features, which I'm sure you found Penn (I'm assuming you have it on DVD).

  • Yeah Bones will get you to fall asleep.

  • I think I can agree that Slumdog was a bit contrived, but that was the beauty of the film, that it dangled a suspension of disbelief so deftly. At the same time, hearing the jarring, familiar WWTBAM music placed to firmly in the real world.

  • House ftw.

  • Comment removed

  • If you want to watch a cool crime show check out Dexter!

  • how could you hate jacob's ladder? i love the plot; a man fighting against dying and ultimately accepting it and giving in. i did think the lsd subplot was a distraction. they live was really underated. roddy piper was great and so was the news chick (forget her name, but she was very hot AND creepy at the same time). i really enjoy your "non-reviews" :)

  • I was dissapointed by Frost Nixon too. There's a great story there, but they kind of messed it up.

The guy that played Nixon totally sucked too.

  • "num 3 ers"

    XD

  • Omega Man, Planet of the Apes and Seven are great.

  • psych is pretty good. i watched the whole first season of it but i haven't gotten the second season yet. i should get that soon.

  • I wholeheartedly agree with your take on The Wrestler. That movie destroyed me. Darren Aronofsky and everyone involved with it deserves a big hug. Shame they got robbed at the Oscars [The Reader? Huh?], but at least Rourke and Tomei got nominated.

  • Eh.

  • "that's probably secret stuff so don't spread it around."

    lol Penn.

  • When do we get 2008 in porn?

  • "When do we get 2008 in porn?"

In an interesting temporal paradox Penn watches more pornography in a year than it is possible for a single person to describe even if they mentioned them by title alone and spoke continuously 24 hours a day for 365.25 days straight.

Upon hearing of this record breaking feat, Film and TV star Chuck Norris reportedly said "O rly?" just prior to locking himself and a macbook inside a kleenix factory with Wifi. He could not be reached for further comment.

    :D

  • LOL, Holy S that is good stuff..Nice.

  • Hilarious!!

  • Wow, Penn. That was not interesting...

  • num-three-rs?

    Numb3rs?

  • kudos on the Halloween shout out. boo on the "Invasion" shout out.

  • I like the longer Penn Says...

It's just about having something to say the whole time...

  • man i love you penn but man........Rob Zombie? Hes is one of the worst directors of my generation. That remake he made was awful. Playing "love hurts" while the kid sits on the porch? jesus wept man....

  • I was suprised he didn't actually cast Mike Meyers AS Michael Myers. Rob Zombie's films follow a 3B formula.

    1. Blood

    2. Butchery

    3. Boobs

  • Total win

  • Penn and I could never be friends. I don't think I have heard of half of those films, and haven't actually seen any of them.

  • LOST and Dexter are the two best shows on TV you should check them out. LOST requires a pretty huge time dedication though now that its on season five and you have to start at the beginning.

  • more long penn says! size does matter!

  • love you and love they live i saw in 2008 as well

  • is penn says not going on itunes podcasts anymore?

  • Holding off on the Itunes podcasts for now.

  • alright thanks. i was wondering about that.

  • I love how he says 'Num-3ers.' LOL.

  • Shoot 'em Up is one of my favorite movies.

  • that movie was a steaming pile of shit.

  • You guys should check out Gran Torino...that movie is amazing i thought

  • Anyone out there should see Let The Right One In. It was probably the best movie of 2008 in my opinion.

  • If you've never seen "The Fountain" check it out. It is... well I won't even tell you the genre-that's the best way to see a film I think.

  • Penn,

How about the best comedians you have seen in 2008.

  • The remake of Halloween is a fucking travesty. Horrible, horrible, shit!

  • the rob zombie version?

    i loved that one

  • One must see movie is 'Grow your own'. The title and movie are from England. It is not about the American meaning of the phrase. Look it up and give it a try. I'd say more about it except that I usually prefer seeing a movie with a blank slate.

  • Rob Zombie kicks ass

  • Numb-Threers.

  • nope I watched the whole thing, and it was good. I don't always agree with you Penn, but you are an archetypical american in many ways. that makes you very endearing, and in certain ways familiar. Keep doing what you do Penn.

    Cheers!

  • The Wire is fucken bliss

  • Planet of the Apes and Omega Man--both excellent and much, much better than the later remakes. Now see Soylent Green to complete the Heston trilogy! The first Rollerball (sorry, no Heston!) is also well worth another look.

  • i hope your jokeing about wrestling being real

  • Wrestling is a real, valid, and dangerous sport.

WWE wresting, though, that's a soap opera (quite literally) on steroids :P

  • i know wrestling can be a sport but they type of wrestling in this film (from whats i saw in the trailer) isn't. Even wrestling where they cut themselves up on barbed wire is scripted.

  • seach on youtube for: louis theroux wrestling

  • Why are the tags for this video Milk, blowjob, and strippers

  • Milk refers to the movie, blowjup refers to what pann says in the video about music, strippers is part of the movie title zombie strippers

  • NUM 3ers? HAHAHA

  • Penn, you're my favorite person by far!

  • The wire is not a crime show. it is a biopic of american political and social flaws

  • slumdog was ok? c'mon penn! haha good list though

  • Jacob's Ladder was Great!

    you hated it?

  • i think i remember you and Teller drive a truck over somebody with a soft tire, im not sure though. probably not. lol, im mad. good video.

  • Penn drove over Teller, in a real truck, but as you say they then (naughtily?) explain the trick, which involves squidgy tyres and MASSES of weights on the other side to balancethe weight of the truck. I forget what show it was on, though. :D

  • penn, youre the best

  • Yep, gotta agree with you on Dan Craig. I wish I could dedicate the hours to toning myself to look like that and just run around in the birthday suit.
