This a response to kubkins by the way. Who is LFO? And no, they didn't make Closer. In the booklet that comes with The Downward Spiral album it says under the song title "Written by Trent Reznor". It also says "Performed by Trent Reznor" and "Arranged by Trent Reznor". So i would say that whoever LFO is, they didn't write the song. All the songs on NIN's main albums are made by Trent Reznor. He also does not make videos for the cover songs he does, covers are only on singles or remix albums.
