The mariachis & folklorico dancers have white faces, and the children also. The balloon is also white; white is a traditional color at the funeral of a young person. I think the white balloon is a symbol of her spirit, and he lets it go "to heaven." Sorry I would post en espanol tambien, but not enough space!
