william cheung, in his hay day was 'the best street fighter in the world' said bruce lee do your home work. MMA is a sport with rules you can not compare it to an actual fight. true fighting is about life or death not scorecards and rounds.

Wing Chun is rubbish, his strategy is correct but does he seriously think things like Chain punches to the ear ect or gonna disable an attacker ect....Everything WingChun does....other styles do better. Boztepe didnt attack him from behind, he gave him 10 seconds warning...& both fell to the floor like school children in a playground fight....god help him if hed ever fought a decent MMA guy...

As a Wing Chun practitioner, I am really satisfied from it, surely its nor perfect, no system is, but it really suits my personal style and so its easier for me to learn it and build my base on it.

No system and no fighter is the best, or complete, or perfect, you cannot say that a system is bad or rubbish though, unless you know it.

Usually its our ego that says "this is bullshit" and not our judgement.

I trained with him for over ten years and yes his good but like most comments here its all set up,, i love wing chun but he is money hungry,, i remember doing my dummy grading and see him looking at his watch and where else he could be,, hows that for giving you confidence after all the work you have put in. But i have only trained with him never had a fight, and he avoided alot of Q about the past. And after all the years i put in i would still put my money on a street smart fighter anytime.

No offense but I'm seriously doubt about his wing chun skill. I don't know whether he is a crook or not but the way he gave the demonstration, something is really cheesy certainly raise the red flag to me that he doesn't want to show his real Wing chun skill or perhaps he knew that he's not good enough to deal with unpredicted oncoming attack from his student, thus choreograph the demo instead.
