I went to Rio to do some study projects last year. With friends, that lived in Rocinha I went there once and surprisingly I LOVED it that much, that I decided to move there, so i´ve lived in Rocinha for 4 months, it was great,but also it was really hard.not only, because it´s just favela,it was also hard, because the drug bandits are everywhere,and they are making the law, that you couldnt read in books,everyday I heard shots, than there is no SPACE for NOTHING etc.
wow before this video i thought rio was just beaches and fine chicks but there's more to brazil than meets the eye. the high crime rate the poverty of the ones who lives in the favelas. its just miserable to see peole in places like this
interesting - I was just there on a tour. I wish somebody would video more inside Rocinha itself, so that people could actually see what the Favela looks like on the ground.
