@meatisdeliciouse I would wager it's about lifestyle, and diet in those areas...and yes, they are historically poor countries. Georgia is growing economically now, but that is a recent development (relatively speaking). I think people in those areas are generally healthier because of the lack of additives and chemicals in their food, as well as not being poisoned by big industry like the rest of us in more "advanced" countries.

There are people in some countries claming to be over 160, witch is just rediculouse since if they were over 100 in 1950 they will have been sent a letter by the quean or put in the news paper or SOMETHING.

This woman would have been 31 when my great grandmother was born. My great grandmother died in 2005. She really out lived her if her age is legit. When she was my age it would have been back in 1906.
