  • i dont understand why that men is in there

  • is the green screen important?

  • Hey, I was browsing your website to check VisionLab Studio. I didn´t find it. Is this program still available?

  • @Takua11on VisionLab has been replaced with our new product HitFilm. You can find out all about it on HitFilm.com!

  • Is this on the free version?

  • @HEIGHTSIXFIVE There isn't a 'free version', but we do have a demo you can try out over at the FXhome website.

  • where do you get your images from?

  • @dalesfilms some of the stock images we use come from istockphotos, some we create ourselves.

  • Does Vision Lab Studio work with MP4?

  • @MiniSizedLegend VisionLab is designed to work with AVI and MOV video files. The MP4 format is not designed to be used during editing, it's specifically a final delivery format.

  • My clips come out in a format called .mod and is this a supported file if not what can I do?

  • @MiniSizedLegend No, .mod files aren't supported, you will need to convert them to AVI or MOV.

  • @fxhome How can I change it?

  • @MiniSizedLegend You'll need to use your editing software to export it to a different format.

  • Firstly very good and secondly did noone notice "Leaving 2 girls 1 cup" XD

  • in the optics you can select optic movement to move it.can i do any similar to laser or neon light???

  • @thegurugamers Yes, you can animate both of them. Check the manual for full details of each engine's controls.

  • for make video clip what program i need??

  • thanks!!tha really helped, can i change the size of laser or neon light as well?

  • @thegurugamers Those two engines work quite differently, so don't have a simple 'scale' slider. For the neon light, though, in the 'neon shapes' toolset you can select the scale tool in the toolbox (4th one along) and scale the shape.

  • question does it have to be green screen

  • Your products are AWESOME! :D

  • this was a great video guys :) thanks for taking the time to show us this.

  • 2 questions how do I make multiple clones and how to make the clones walk past each other (overlap)

  • If you shoot on greenscreen, having clones walk past each other is easy - the top layer will be 'in front' of the other one. If you're not shooting greenscreen then you'll have to do some fiddly masking.

Doing 2 clones or 5 clones is all the same process - you just need more layers with additional copies/shots of the person.

  • the dude acting as a stand in is pretty funny to watch. he's not sure why he's there. pretty cool.

  • i need help!! after i editing my videos there is a blue box that flashes acrost the screen that says offline? how can i fix this please help

  • Please head over to the FXhome website for support.

This message indicates that your source files have been moved, renamed or deleted.

  • That means that they file cannot be found. If you put a file into Fxhome don't move it, or else you have to put it in Fxhome again.

  • @IzzySlypig666 is there any way to change the size of an optic.i mean if the scene is clode to a person and then it change to a further shot the optic has the same size

  • @thegurugamers You can change the size of the optic using the 'scale' slider in its movement settings.

  • @fxhome thanks! that really helped

  • can you make a tutorial on fire ? please :)

  • There are fire tutorials over at the FXhome website already. :)

  • great job !

  • lol! 4:00 2g1c! brilliant!

  • LOL, I heard that, thought about it for a second, and scrolled down to see if anyone else noticed besides myself: glad I'm not alone. xD

  • good to know, thanks!

  • Very nice tutorial! Loved it.

  • aaaa so cool when i always try it it doesnt come out as good as yours hahah looks like you got more experience haah

  • Cool!

  • Great info.

I was wondering about that "picture in picture" that pops up when you are scrubbing the crop tool back and forth, is that just something in VL or an effect that was added to this video later?

I don't have the feature in CL but it sure would be handy!

  • That's in the program itself. It's also in CompositeLab, so you should definitely be seeing it!

    What version are you running?

  • According to the splash screen, my CL is version 1.005.014

There was an update recently for both CL and EL and I ran both.

I'm on an XP computer if that makes a difference, is it possibly because my PC is a bit older and slower?

It's a terrific feature, I'm looking forward to getting it running

  • I answered my own question, it's the slow computer!

I went back in to CL, opened a clip, selected the Crop tool and pulled the clip on the timeline. This time I held the tool on the clip for a few extra seconds and suddenly the PinP popped up.

Mystery solved, need a new computer! LOL

  • Awesome, this tutorial rules

  • HAHAHAHA ROTFL!!!! 2 Girls and 1 Cup! HILARIOUS!!

  • Glad you liked the tutorial!

  • I was laughing at exactly the same thing. Brilliant!

  • second

  • yes maby you should allow viewers to send in there own videos pick the best ones then upload them to the channel.
