Why has C/Z/Jones accent got such an American twang to it, & Tom Jones (who's bn in the bis for over ''40 years'' & and lives there) as kept his (whats known round the world as impenetrable) Welsh voice.

Its not just Tom Jones who retain's his accent and lives in the USA, theres Sir Anthoney Hopkins, Ioan Griffith, Matthew Rhys & Dame Shirley Bassy.
