In a freestyle battle, you don't have much time to make complex structure, biting personals, good comparisons and genuinely funny comedy. You just analyze what you see and push out the same 4 angles for a whole battle. Written battles display intelligence and let emcee's flex their pen game. Its better entertainment and takes more skill in the long run.

This was a really dope battle. honestly, I had no idea what the outcome was going to be, to be honest with you. I thought either person could have easily taken this without a hard feeling towards either, but I thought CL was going to stomp him. If you put content vs bars then you got CL getting the first 2nd 100 bulletz, 3rd i would have given to bulletz. That is just the way I seen it..honestly it was a really slight edge, but if I watch it again it might be CL winning.

Both of these guys killed it. CL isn't going to get beat on the humor and presence, but Bulletz brought bahhz and although his performance sounded really rehearsed, and sort of stiff, it had very few wrinkles. His 3rd round was bonkers but I give the first to CL and (almost too close to call) edge the second just barely to CL. Both of these cats are among the best in lesser known KOTD (and GZ) and CL has already proved himself (beating Meitz). I think Bulletz deserves a good match up in WD3.
