Phin and Matt are the two guys that started Southern Tier brewery. This is actually meant to be more of a British style pale ale where it's more malty and sweet than hoppy and crisp. I think it's one of their lesser offerings, actually.
As soon as Choklat hits the shelves (should be any day now) I'll get some out to you!
@ChadzBeerReviews I really enjoyed this mate could easily supp a few over a sunday afternoon. Hey I sent our first ever trans Atlantic beer review to the new PR lady at Wells and Young's (Jo left for Carlsberg) she was very impressed, have the new Courage Russian Imperial Stouts started landing on the shelves where you are mate?? For now its for the American market only :( Thanks so much for looking to send the Choklat, really really looking forward to it, cheers Chad
@HopZine Yes its a decent enough beer, its a hard one though! I like to drink pints of beer, but at 5.7% you would have to be very concious, cheers Rob
Glad to see the reviews are still going strong. Keep it up.

sounds like a good beer. There is a different drinking culture in UK, you're right. I'd probably limit this beer to x4-5 max? fairly strong

@kinkyplunk Yes 4-5 would be most people limit on this, very nice sessionable ale, well worth a look, cheers

Sounds like a decent enough pale ale. I still think I'll stick to the Camdens and Sierra Nevadas before trying this one. Good review mate!

@mrgrimviking Its a nice beer but like I mentioned to Rob, I love to session a beer and at 5.7% this could be a little dangerous!! Cheers Dave.

This didn't blow me away but saying that there is nothing wrong with it its just not very exciting. I'll post my review sometime this week.

"6 or 7 pints might be a little much" priceless haha.
Love your videos and I'm doing Movember too, little jealous, keep up the reviews.
Do you know of any pubs in the UK that stock beers from that brewery?

@chriskemm Hahaha yes 6 or 7 would be a little too much :) Thanks for watching and GGOO Movember :)
