  • Awesome thanks for tutorials !!

  • its very nice, but the hair looks so plastic.

  • its very hard to make very good looking hair

  • what machine you got ?

  • damn you rock :)

  • do you know any good software for texture

mapping or do you know how to do it in 3ds max

  • I use Deep UV to unwrap my mapping.

  • very nice. thou skin seems little too glossy almost like he's been sweating.

  • do you know if I can export the hair and use

    in other programs.

  • nope, I never heard of that. A stand alone hair program?

  • i think you can convert the hair strands to a poly mesh and then save it as an object that could be imported into another 3d program.

  • hey this is cool did you use this 3ds max

    hair modifier

  • nope, i use hairtrix pligin

  • very impressive

  • what kind of computer do you do all of this on? how long does it usually take to render?

  • I use Panasonic Let's note R4. Render time: about 5 min/frame (including the hair)

  • great result, but i think there r too much specular on the texture and the colour transition on the hair should be more worked such as its specular to. But its a great work realy, the textura axis is well positioned...

i cant wait for the tutorial!

  • thanks for your crtics and advices. Yes, the transition of hair and scalp is a big problem. Also, the specular should be rework as the large area of white color causing a big refelction problem.

  • im having the same problem...lol

how r u modeling the head?

im using zbrush and its a grat soft to do so...

    have u tried?

  • I used a free headgen software to create a rough head model and I import it in Autodesk Mudbox to adding detail like wrinkles..etc

Tutorial of this will release later

  • i have a diomatic plugin that is useful too but in terms of a details is a shame...

with zbrush i do it a highly detail head in a short time check some tutorials on youtube...

  • End results are amazing. Good work!

  • Thank you for your comments. Tutorial of this will be release within two weeks

  • Looking forward to it. To tell you the truth I have been experiencing withdrawals waiting for another tutorial from you. HAHAHHAA!

  • Thanks!!!

You can still see some flaws/defects around the hair, but overall, I think it is good enough to publish it.

  • Looks really nice =]
