  • check the heartland festival in switzerland in october 2011 !!!

  • Great song and a very unique location. You were lucky. I really love this song. Brings me back to the 80's which were not the greatest times in Ireland. I find it a very emotional song but i just love the way the words "when you smile" are sung and all the varying emotions they convey. ....PB

  • Great song, but Concrete Blonde did it better justice on the Mexican Moon record. Yes, I know Steve wrote it, but it's so much moodier and powerful on MM.

  • @jsullysix Concrete Blonde ain't fit to belch up Steve Wynn's busted guitar picks. Go take a listen to the original EP version of this song and then get back to us.

  • I respect your opinion, it's a great song, for sure. I saw Steve play it live when he opened for Johnette's side band, Pretty & Twisted in the mid 90s, and stand by my original post. That said, Steve is clearly a great writer, and I have nothing but respect for him.

  • If I had been there, no way I could talk during this or any of the songs. Must listen. I hope Alex will invite me to his next partay with Steve and band.

  • Wow, where was this? It doesn't sound like the crowd understood what they were seeing. This was wasted on them.

  • it was in my buddy alex's living room! private partay. we knew what we were seeing...it's just Steve & the band were so cool & unassuming & nice ... that the whole night had a great casz vibe to it. definitely an all-time- classic night! I'll eventually post all the songs...so stay tuned...

  • One of my favorite!

  • Great Tune!
