Can you do an updated skin care routine and skin care product you are currently loving video. I recently bought Murad mattifier, i saw it in one of your videos. i love it. thanks!
I have a question, I have seen some sun spots and was going to make an appt with my Dermatologist to get them removed. Did they use IPL? Also, did your insurance cover it? I was going to go somewhere else more of a spa place to get the laser, but I thought if insurance would cover it I would go there. Thanks!
Thanks Lisa :) I didn't end up purchasing moisture lush! So, I am still on a hunt for a moisturizer. My local bath and body works finally carries Patricia Wexxley. I tried the mmpi serum on my hand and it seemed really hydrating all by itself on my normal to dry/combi skin. Do you really need a moisturizer on top of that? I am also thinking of trying the new mineralize all over lotion from MAC.
Yes You do have a lot of skin care products :P but thats why your skin is so healhy looking!
heya! :) I bought the clinique - repairwear eye cream and I actually really do like it. I use it both morning and night. My only problem is my concealer always gets liney in 5 mins! ( I use mac - moisture cover) How can I fix this??
Also, after seeing your video...I tried MAC - lightful moisturizer. I did enjoy it but it doesn't last me a long time at all lol. I want to try the moisturelush! You think that would be ok for normal to to dry/combination skin?
I always use a different primer under my eyes like Clarins Instant Touch so that it fills in the fine lines better- before the concealer. Moisture lush is made for more dry to normal skin! It can make combo skin look oily!
Hello i had a question where do you go to get a microdermabrasions at? and or did you ever use like in home type if so can you let me know please thank you
Quick question.. are you still using.. and loving.. the Korres Olive and rye eye cream? I need something for fine lines im starting to get... thinking this sounded like a good start?
I haven't really tried the spray but I love the mousse, and the body gradual tanner. I always get streaky from sprays or look orange.I am 34 and I can never ever do my feet. That stinkin achilles tendon, and I have stretched it out put the remainder after you do the legs on in a feathering upward motion. That was better but that heel got me again.I'm gonna do a tan tonight any suggestions 4 that area?Bad breakout, cystic style on my cheek any suggestions to zap it away?Sorry so many ??s but your #1.
I used to have trouble too, but I now use a sonja kashuk blending sponge damp and it works amazing! I show it in my overview of self tanners video. It always depends on yoiur skin what will work- if it is always hapening I would say to check with a dermatoligist! :o) Good Luck!
Thanks Lisa,I was actually on my way to the plaza where there is a bath and body works. I've been to the Derm Dr and they just kept me on creams that bleached out my collar line on all my expensive tops and put me on oral antibiotics, which I did for 5 years and it's not good for your body to me on a pill like that for such a period of time, plus I still broke out badly and I did give it a shot for 5 years. So it wasn't like I didntgive it a chance,as I know things will pop out in the start. Thanks
Lisa I love you but I have 1 question. How do you know what does what for your skin?I'm trying to follow your skin care but you must have listed over 10-15 products alone not including the spa treatments. I am way confused. I work 50 hours a week have oily skin that breaks out . I ama hairdresser and with the blowdryers and flat irons it can get hot and I sweat then get a cystic pimple.I need a simple quick treatment for my oily skin, this is confusing. Love your videos lost on this one HELP.
ughh I have the same issues as you!! I went to the derm and got put on meds cause I had medium to severe acne with losts of cystic pimples...and now Im practically immune to it, so my moms co worker told me what she does and other ppl who have the same skin issues use...but anyways I'd use a oil free cleanser, any kind that fits your skin type, an astrigent, sme kind of acne gel, then a lightweight moisturizer (I use one to help fade dark spots since yu get those from cystic pimples)
I would suggest a system for acne like the Patrica Wexler one and if over the counter does nto work you should probably got to a professional dermatologist to have someone look at your skin in person and diagnose it! Good Luck!
Hi Lisa, I was at my dermatologist today and she prescribed me a Retin A lotion. I remembered I had watched something about this in one of your videos so I looked it up. I mentioned to her about the Obagi blender as I had dark spots from previous sun damage. She was not familiar with this product. Where do you purchase the Obagi from? Do you just mix the same amount of each product togetherand put them on at the same time at night? Thank you for your helo, your videos are great!!! :)
wexler now has a great tinted moisturizer with i believe spf 35 in it. ive tried it out and its nice and light and just evens out your skin tone nicely.
Hey Lisa, quick question for you. Was the PW MMPi serum making your face itchy at first? I just bought it and this is my second time putting it on and it is really making my face itch!!
if the mmpi serum makes your face itchy either a: you are using a little too much for your skin (use a little less and see if that helps) or b: your skin can't handle it. Wexler products are too intense for some skin. if you got it at a bath and body works store you can always return it without a receipt. they have a 100% return policy. hope this is helpful!
What do you think of the entire proactiv product line? I've been using the 3 steps with the occasional mask and it works well but I'd like to know if there is something else out there you think would be good for me to try. I'm 19 and have occasional breakouts. My skin has calmed down a lot since I started proactiv. Let me know!! :)
Hi Lisa, do you know if the patricia Wexler creams are good for combination skin? And do you think they are good for people who are prone to breakouts? Thanks for the great reviews and your skin is gorgeous!
Hey Lisa, I was wondering if you know that the Proactive Solution Refining Mask has Sulfur in it. On the front it says combination therapy and under that it says, Sulfur Acne Treatment so....I thought I would let you know since you said you where allergic to sulfur. Thanks for the great videos!!
I first used a friends and it worked so I never read the ingredients! Guess I can take in it small doses! I was told I was alergic as a kid but I never tested it as I grew up- maybe I grew out of it! :o) Thanks for the info!
Hi Lisa. Your skin always looks amazing. Skin care is so important...thank you for posting all your steps! I love watching your videos. :) Quick question, is super sequin lipstick different than sequin? The color looks great on you and I only found sequin lipstick on the MAC website. Thank you! :)
aww thanks so much! I am gla dyou enjoyed it! I think super sequin was LE it is just a deper version of the sequin! I prefer sequin personally! :o) Enjoy!
I dont know why ppl r saying u use to many products, I dont think thats the case, I mean, u remove ur makeup, u wash ur face, u use something to prevent wrinkles, something to hydrate/moist ur skin, spf, spot treat the occasional pimple, retinA ur Dr. prescribed, pads to exfoliate/peel we all should have that step too in our routine, u get facial every 3 months, that doesnt sound off at all, ur skin's plenty of proof! wish my skin looked as healthy. Thanks for sharing, I find ur vid very helpful
I am glad you liked the video! I do it different- for a full mask I only leave it on for a short time for spot treatment I leave it on overnight! I hope this helps you! :o)
aww thanks you are sweet! :o) Unfortunetly I am not goign to do tutorials- There are plenty of great people doing them and I enjoy doing the reviews! :o)
I'm so glad you did this video cause I love the glow your skin has. I try my best to take care of mine and I've been looking for some hydrating lotions and stuff and anything to prevent aging. Anyway, thanks for all the tips and suggestions!!
Does this help with Acne or just the scar after? I have a bit of both along with freckles. I don't mind the freckles but all together, it makes my skin like all different colors. Would the laser reduce scars and/or freckles?
You didn't say much about the retinA lotion. I have tried a topical pres. cream - hated it. How does this product work.
Sorry for all the Questions- but my skin has always been a problem for me
I believe it helps with both, but I am unsure since I have not had acne issues in years! RetinA is a topical product that helps remove your top layer of skin and tighten it as you use it! You should ask your dermatologist about it! :o) I hope this helps you!
Thanks girl! that is interesting! I first used a friends and it worked so I never read the ingredients! Guess I can take in it small doses! I was told I was alergic as a kid but I never tested it as I grew up- maybe I grew out of it! :o) Thanks for the info!
I got the MMPi serum because of you, and I like it a lot. :-) I also got my mom that de-puff gel from Wexler and it has changed her face. Her eyes look so great! She doesn't look tired anymore, and it works for sure! So thanks from her :-) I got the Target Brand wipes which were $3 for 30 hehe. I'll try that Kirkland.
This was fun to watch--I think between the two of us, we could give a seminar! The next thing I want to check out is a new Dermalogica line--ChromaWhite or something like that, it's supposed to be an awesome alternative to the hydroquinone--I'll let you know if I try it! I'm glad the blender has worked out for you! Lisa
Thanks for sharing your skin care. I also use Retin-A (been using it off and on for 15 years). I think that's the single best thing for your skin, over time it builds up the collagen, so you're skin is firmer and less saggy over time. Anything you buy over the counter is just going to affect the top layer of skin, so you won't get any long term result. I don't do the facials, but that's good too- anything that does more than just the surface of skin is what's really going to help!
You say you're allergic to Sulfur buy yet you use the Proactiv mask? It has Sulfer in it. I know because I use it too as a spot treatment at night. Maybe you can handle it small doses?
that is interesting! I first used a friends and it worked so I never read the ingredients! Guess I can take in it small doses! I was told I was alergic as a kid but I never tested it as I grew up- maybe I grew out of it! :o) Thanks for the info!
Great video, you have such beautiful glowing skin. Just a couple quick questions is the Mac prep and prime spf 50 is all you use for sunscreen in the morning? How much of it do you use? Lastly what do use to remove eye makeup?
I do use the PP50 for my sunscreen in teh mornings! :o) I just put a nickle size amount for my face and neck! I use almay eye remover pads w aloe for my eye makeup!
that is interesting! I first used a friends and it worked so I never read the ingredients! Guess I can take in it small doses! I was told I was alergic as a kid but I never tested it as I grew up- maybe I grew out of it! :o) Thanks for the info!
I wanted to get the Kirkland cloths but when I went to my Costco they didn't have them!!! Maybe they aren't in Canada.... :( so sad! lol Great products Lisa!
Your skin is so clear and vibrant looking so everything that your doing works for you. I know you mentioned the Repairwear Eye Cream by Cliniuqe... have you ever tried their Repairwear Foundation? I have it and the coverage is so nice but I come out lousy in pics, that darn titanium dioxide in it just cancels out all of my features in photos, I wish they would do away with that ingredient.
Great video thank you it was very informative! Thanks so much for the "exfoliator" info - I've just realised that I've been breaking out like crazi those days maybe because I use daily (even sometimes 2 time a day) my Clarins One-step gentle exfoliating cleanser...
when i was 15 (im 19 now) i had really bad acne and scarring, so i went and got glycolic peels, which hurt really bad, enough to make me cry the higher the % it went up, anyways its also great for tons of other skin problems not only acne, which im totally acne free now, but its probley the best thing i have ever done, and if your into that you should look into doing it because it really really helped me.
and.have you ever tried bliss or meetmark skincare products? they are great! :)
I have done the gycolic peels before about 5 years ago, but now the lasers are much easier on the skin and the results are similar! :o) Thanks for the tips!
Hey, I was getting super excited hearing about the peel pads when................your camera decides to shut off!?!?!?! Where do you get these? Cost? How long do you leave that on for? Help!!
haha! I know it was just way to much to to re- record it all! :oP You get them at Sephora! I think they are $60. You leave it on for 60seconds to 3 min! I sometimes do longer! :oP I have a review loading this week on teh peel pads too! Sorry about that!

I'm so glad you did this video cause I love the glow your skin has. I try my best to take care of mine and I've been looking for some hydrating lotions and stuff and anything to prevent aging. Anyway, thanks for all the tips and suggestions!!

I really like your makeup here. Color on the lips and eyes....not so much shiny white and reflective stuff. Skin looks natural and gorgeous. Lovely!

I had a question about the laser...
Sorry for all the Questions- but my skin has always been a problem for me
hawaii8087 2 years ago 2
I believe it helps with both, but I am unsure since I have not had acne issues in years! RetinA is a topical product that helps remove your top layer of skin and tighten it as you use it! You should ask your dermatologist about it! :o) I hope this helps you!

awesome products! Be careful with the Proactiv Refining mask if you're allergic to sulfur! That's the active ingredient.
MakeupByTiffanyD 2 years ago 2

I'll try that Kirkland.

yay! Glad you and your mom liked the products! :o)

Lisa

haha! I totally agree- let me know what you think of the dermalogica- I have heard good things so far!

I don't do the facials, but that's good too- anything that does more than just the surface of skin is what's really going to help!
ualemp902 2 years ago
I love my RetinA Lotion! I agree on the drugstore stuff! :o) Thanks for watching!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
You say you're allergic to Sulfur buy yet you use the Proactiv mask? It has Sulfer in it. I know because I use it too as a spot treatment at night. Maybe you can handle it small doses?

Great video, you have such beautiful glowing skin. Just a couple quick questions is the Mac prep and prime spf 50 is all you use for sunscreen in the morning? How much of it do you use? Lastly what do use to remove eye makeup?
BrendaBarrett 2 years ago
I do use the PP50 for my sunscreen in teh mornings! :o) I just put a nickle size amount for my face and neck! I use almay eye remover pads w aloe for my eye makeup!

I wanted to get the Kirkland cloths but when I went to my Costco they didn't have them!!! Maybe they aren't in Canada.... :( so sad! lol Great products Lisa!
JessicaRD88 2 years ago
that is strange- do they carry the other Kirkland products? Good luck finding them!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Your skin is so clear and vibrant looking so everything that your doing works for you. I know you mentioned the Repairwear Eye Cream by Cliniuqe... have you ever tried their Repairwear Foundation? I have it and the coverage is so nice but I come out lousy in pics, that darn titanium dioxide in it just cancels out all of my features in photos, I wish they would do away with that ingredient.
Great vid as usual!

aww thanks! I have not ever used the founation! I am sorry to hear that it doesnt come out well in pics! That is a shame! :o(

Great video thank you it was very informative! Thanks so much for the "exfoliator" info - I've just realised that I've been breaking out like crazi those days maybe because I use daily (even sometimes 2 time a day) my Clarins One-step gentle exfoliating cleanser...
Policosmetics82 2 years ago
yay! I am glad that was helpful for you! :o) You should totally cut back on the exfoliator! :o) Let me knwo if that helps! :o)

Hi lisa :)
when i was 15 (im 19 now) i had really bad acne and scarring, so i went and got glycolic peels, which hurt really bad, enough to make me cry the higher the % it went up, anyways its also great for tons of other skin problems not only acne, which im totally acne free now, but its probley the best thing i have ever done, and if your into that you should look into doing it because it really really helped me.
and.have you ever tried bliss or meetmark skincare products? they are great! :)
InspireMakeUp 2 years ago
I have done the gycolic peels before about 5 years ago, but now the lasers are much easier on the skin and the results are similar! :o) Thanks for the tips!
Lisasz09 2 years ago
Hey, I was getting super excited hearing about the peel pads when................your camera decides to shut off!?!?!?! Where do you get these? Cost? How long do you leave that on for? Help!!
scrumps101 2 years ago
haha! I know it was just way to much to to re- record it all! :oP You get them at Sephora! I think they are $60. You leave it on for 60seconds to 3 min! I sometimes do longer! :oP I have a review loading this week on teh peel pads too! Sorry about that!

Lisasz09 2 years ago
Are those laser treatments expensive?
