Guys, these coolers aren't nearly enough for a 6970, i bought two of these coolers for both of my 6970s and now they're both dead...

@lucky1123456 Die HD 6990 hat zwei GPUs auf der Platine, der Kühler hat aber nur einen Heatspreader. Für diese Karte gibt es einen extra Kühler, den Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo 6990.

I did this based on your review. Sorry, but a 6970 with this cooler fails miserably. At idle it's fine, but at load it goes above 100c in furmark in literally 60 seconds.
Just a warning to those out there, don't do this, get an Extreme Plus II

@JamesonAshbeck Thanks for your comment, but first I wanna point out that Furmark isn't a really good tool to find out the power of the cooler, because the graphics card needs a lot more power than at normal usage.
With the stock BIOS of AMD the 6970 won't be very hot (73° in my case).
Results can differ from case to case.
