Once this remote is "connected" to a certain make. Say SHARP, will it work on all SHARP TVs or do i have to keep "connecting" to every single TV.

the best way to get this and cheapest is ebay. if you buy it from a place in hong kong it's brand new and to set it up all you do is hold the mute button down untill the tv says mute and your done ive been messing with my grandfather. he thinks the house is haunted.

not only sonys if you already hacked a tv you might be able to activate even these (most tv's can turned on by pressing a random number button of their remot)

and by the way to "qwertyduckman" watch out cameras, they can see infrared lights! Depending where you manipulate the TV (airport maybe) you can get into real trouble :)

also for the people who's remote doesn't work. it's probably because you hold down the mute button for to long. you need to release the mute button as soon as you see the mute on the tv. ASAP
