Is not due to the Auto industry...its due to raising the state business tax to 10% along with taxes on cigarettes, gasoline, the increases in driver licenser renewal fees and late pymnt. fines, just to name a few. Companies already have tremendous overhead and pay a fortune in taxes...they are going to get lean and mean everytime you add more of a tax burden on them...they are going to outsource, lay people off, reduce or eliminate benefits, maybe go out of business.
