I actually enjoyed playing this game. I wasnt really expecting too much, i just wanted a jrpg for my ps3. But yeah i frikin love it. So glad the first one came with the sequel. But right now im working on getting all the weapons unlocked on Battlefield 3's co-op mode.
it was gay how you make a background character.you make your own guy so your like yay i'm the main character and then the games like no fuck you and kicks you to the remaining party bar thing after half of the cut scenes. Of course there's a princess and the armor so you think you get them but no Leonard does. You don't even get one word or anyway to communicate.you get no knight, no girl nothing. if anything the fact you make the guy means you lose the trill of being the main man
I only have two problems with this game, the story is some horribly cliched shit and my avatar feels like a fucking creeper in every cut-scene i mean come on can i at least be recognized. Other than that i loved this game, such a time-sink i spent hours building my georama and making new weapons. Basically if you like FF:XII get this game.

im playing it now and its a good game nothing to complain about other than enemies hitting u with melee attacks from far away and its true that u cant do that and the wait ring will go slower the heavier ur gear equipped is that kind of sucks.
however i did get white knight chronicles 2, which came with the original, FIXED. The battles are very fast not slow at all now.
i wish this game came out when i was younger so i'd be IN LOVE with it. it's still awesome making yourself be in the game, then getting a giant sword and wrecking some shit.

i'm sorry but after picking up halo 3 everybody's opinion's changed on halo 2. like pirates(o.t.c) 2 it ended, you where dissapointed watched 3 and 2 made perfect sence and it was amazing. after playing halo 2 i remember watching the ending thinking wow, how can you end it there? i want to play more. but after playing halo 3 i was so impressed with halo 2. everything made perfect sense. after playing and finishing white knight Chronicles i truly feel like i not wait for the 2nd game.
Dark cloud 1 was amazing even though i didnt finish it, i really want to play dark cloud again. A third installment on the ps3 would be crazy, i havent played a good rpg, since ps2.
Because of this review, when the game came out, i didn't buy it. But after seeing some lets plays and multiplayer quest videos on YouTube i picked it up. (its pretty much $19.99 everywhere) I love this game. its really fun. The story isn't anything to write home about but its okay. usually i don't do online but you can go to other peoples towns that they have created and pretty much everyone i have run into will help you with quests/advise. will be picking up WKC 2 on release day.

@Gamemasterkf I agree that better graphics are usually mere fluff (it's debatable though since well-designed engines can help one relate to characters and become immersed in a game world) and don't necessarily make or break a game for most. However, graphics are still a part of the game and they need to be considered when gauging the overall presentation; particularly when there's glitches and pop-in issues as discussed in this video as those are usually a sign of developers cutting corners.
That being said, I don't agree when this critic mentions the characters looks like they're from a "really good PS2 game." The style appears to be geared toward an anime look, not some gritty fantasy world. Anyhow, I would suggest taking someone's opinion with a grain of salt--particularly IGN's. They tend to be heavily opinionated rather than filling one in on the features. It's like going to the grocery store and having a clerk tell you they hate your favorite food; maybe so, but it suits you.
All of the complaints seem fair. What, are people going to brush off the distance problems and other stuff and insult CoD? Ask yourself, how much sense does that make?
What a terrible review... Simply terrible. They use words they shouldn't even be using... IGN doesn't seem to care about their reviews and get paid for it. They wouldn't know a good game if it hit them in the head at 500mph while being in a car balancing themselves on a wodden log trying to drink piss while upside down.

honestly this game is great.
however i did get white knight chronicles 2, which came with the original, FIXED. The battles are very fast not slow at all now.
i wish this game came out when i was younger so i'd be IN LOVE with it. it's still awesome making yourself be in the game, then getting a giant sword and wrecking some shit.

the game isnt BAD, its just not that good. i mean i beat it, but the final boss really isnt that hard and new game plus really doesnt feel fun, but i wont say that the game sucks. i DID beat it, and ive played a quite a few games like the ring system stuff, so in all honesty it doesnt bug me as much as it seems to bug everyone else. its fun, but if you want a awsome action game, try something else. its not a bad game, but it doesnt really reach a great peak to call it good.

i'm sorry but after picking up halo 3 everybody's opinion's changed on halo 2. like pirates(o.t.c) 2 it ended, you where dissapointed watched 3 and 2 made perfect sence and it was amazing. after playing halo 2 i remember watching the ending thinking wow, how can you end it there? i want to play more. but after playing halo 3 i was so impressed with halo 2. everything made perfect sense. after playing and finishing white knight Chronicles i truly feel like i not wait for the 2nd game.

Because of this review, when the game came out, i didn't buy it. But after seeing some lets plays and multiplayer quest videos on YouTube i picked it up. (its pretty much $19.99 everywhere) I love this game. its really fun. The story isn't anything to write home about but its okay. usually i don't do online but you can go to other peoples towns that they have created and pretty much everyone i have run into will help you with quests/advise. will be picking up WKC 2 on release day.

However, graphics are still a part of the game and they need to be considered when gauging the overall presentation; particularly when there's glitches and pop-in issues as discussed in this video as those are usually a sign of developers cutting corners.

That being said, I don't agree when this critic mentions the characters looks like they're from a "really good PS2 game." The style appears to be geared toward an anime look, not some gritty fantasy world. Anyhow, I would suggest taking someone's opinion with a grain of salt--particularly IGN's. They tend to be heavily opinionated rather than filling one in on the features. It's like going to the grocery store and having a clerk tell you they hate your favorite food; maybe so, but it suits you.
