I was intrigued. Kept my attention. Curious to learn what happened and didn't really catch on until I saw the ring. Liked the word play with the color red. Good job!
Her character is upset at the delivery of the proposal (and the embarassment collapsing), not the proposal itself. I don't think it unrealistic that a person would blow the situation out of proportion, but still want to marry the guy.

the story is a bit confusing, she's mad at him for asking her to marry him but then at the last minute decides to? weak.
