  • Honeytree RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I also listened to her music all the time during college days. I'm so glad this has been posted! Now, is there anyone with Nancy's song, Ain't It Grand to be a Christian?

  • I loved this song when I first heard back in my college days. Thanks to Honeytree for being faithful thru the years.

  • @MaryPeanutButterBush I like it, I like it a lot

  • I used to believe this. Some people are just naturally nice and look happy, whether they be saved or unsaved. I still like Honeytree alot. I'll always keep and cherish her albums, but I'm just not sure about this anymore. Some people just look the way they look because that's the way they look, period.

  • @pazzensutra This true for some people, yes, but not for all people. There are some people who have a more pleasant disposition then others, but that's not the point of the song, I think you are missing it... But anyway, now I am a born again believer, and if you just look at me, you may not know it b/c I have chronic pain and look miserable, but once you talk to me, whether or not you mention Jesus, I am sure you can tell I have the Lord. Ppl can usually just tel;. :p

  • Wow! I remember seeing Nancy Honeytree in concert in the 70's. I loved her. I got the nerve up to approach her, and she actually ended up letting me play her very cool Ovation classical guitar. She ended up going to a late night breakfast at Ihop after the show, with my church friends. I remember thinking "Searchlight" should have been a hit radio single. What a cool lady!

  • OH it's so good to hear this again after so many years! One of my old faves : D

  • wonderful !!! I never heard this before..God Bless!

  • Paranoia Good bye :D

    She's awesome

  • Good ol' Nancy....from Mr. YellowCanary jacket...St. Louis about 1979

  • so cute!!!

  • Great songwriter, singer & performer! Has she ever cut a record(or CD, rather) with Phil Keggy? Wow, man, I COULD DIG THAT!

  • Yes, Phil has played guitar on a couple of her CD's.

  • she is my mom

  • Hey, I'm a Nancy Honeytree fan since I heard her on LP about 25 years ago.

Is there any chance you could get some of your Mum's other songs put on Youtube?

I remember one about Jack climbing a ladder that was awesome!

  • Wow sirdady3, I LOVE your mom's music. My favorite CD was Evergreen, but I loved the other ones, too, even "Hummer, Bummer, Bashmobile." Do tell your Mom what a blessing her music has been. It helped me through some tough times.

  • William. its Esau, are you being good?

  • @sirdady3 Your mom must be a drugie!!!

  • @sirdady3

i was told many times that i looked like her when i was young. one time i went to see the group fireworks sing and the lead singer told me afterwards that he thought nancy honeytree was in the audience lol! love her music! her first two albums were very instrumental in my new walk in the Lord way back in 1976. i would love if you would pass that along to her!

  • @sirdady3 Great MOM

  • @MaryPeanutButterBush

you are disgusting and need prayer...May God have mercy on you for you must not know any better...

  • @MaryPeanutButterBush

not nice bro, you need a prayer

  • @MaryPeanutButterBush

woah woah woah woah woah! im just standin up for what i feel is right buddy! no need to get things all shaken up!

  • @MrSHAGGYSBC

ill give you somethin to shake up

  • @MaryPeanutButterBush by the way Ignorant is spelled with an I.

  • @MaryPeanutButterBush Your threats and ugly comments only show the bitterness in your heart. I will pray for you. Jesus is real but He is not the cause of all the evil in this world. That has come because of sin and rebellion. Do I have the answers?...only God does. I lost 2 of my family to death recently and my heart aches as I wish I understood the whys...but as I walk in this dark land, all I can do is trust in God's unfailing love...there is no other hope. God bless you!

  • she is my mom

  • Hey! Is there a way to get in touch with Nancy Honeytree? I sang her lullaby "Day Is Done" to all my four children who are ages 30, 29, 25, and 20...and am singing it to my grandchildren....I have been looking for a way to purchase her music for a long time.

She is so pure and given to the Lord!

  • Love it. I think I saw Honeytree at DC stadium with some other groups in the 70s.

I remember her version of "Old Rugged Cross" really made me love the song, which before then had just been a "church song".

I listened to her 8 track over and over!
