Back then, you could easily just go back stage or approach any of these people on any given occassion (with respect, of course), and they appreciated every last one and understood what it meant. Today's celeb's forgot the path that was paved and who put them where they are. These people never did--or do. If someone asked them to help with a show/charity, etc. they said where, what time, how much, or how can I help. They helped other coming up or struggling stars artists...as they had been helped

Love the response from the audience when Roy Rogers walks out. Even though they were adults, they become "buckeroos" for that brief moment. It's that kind of unplanned response that brings out the message in this song.

Wow! Great performance from my childhood heroes (except for Randy because he's my age. Although a great singer). I grew up listening to George, Tammy, Vern and Roy on CKBC radio in Bathurst New Brunswick Canada.
