  • this is so true of the gift of discernment. you cant close ur eyes and ears anymore to people anymore-your heart shatters everytime!

  • imagine yourself helping them, reaching out to them—see yourself doing it. put yourself there in your mind, and ask God to put you there. ask Him to fill your heart with sympathy—the power to share the burden of another. after seeing the need He sees—seeing with his Eyes to a certain extent—the compulsion to help may be impossible to hold back.

Jeremiah tried to hold back, but the words deposited in the prophet's heart rose up like a fire shut up in his bones.

  • I couldn´t hear this song today. Because my heart is broken, I see persons on the street without a home, without a food, without Jesus and I just see. I can´t do anything, i don´t have strength enough, although I know i can do much more than just see them.

I just feel shame when i see someone lost and i ask to myself: What Would Jesus do? And I know the answer... but I can´t act.

Sorry English and thanks for post this video.

  • @miriettee Never feel like you can't do anything. There is always something that you can do - maybe it isn't going up to people on the street and helping them...but maybe going to your local charity (St Vincent de Paul Society, the Salvation Army, etc) and see what you can do to help out.

  • @miriettee Even a smile helps. Love this song as well.

  • @miriettee You just pray without ceasing for the boldness, courage, and love.compassion. & also pray to be full of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Do not cease to pray. that's the important part. be daily in it. I had to pray for quite a while. Fasting, really helps you more.

  • whenever i'm upset by something or someone, i always listen to this song. it helps me forget these petty tiny troubles of mine, and shift my focus to others' much larger problems. josh wilson is a blessing.

  • be careful what you wish for..he's right there is no way to close that door..you can only learn to live with it..

  • He sounds a lot like Chris Martin from Coldplay..

  • This song seriously makes you think, you cant sleep and this song makes me feel hurtful inside but you think twice before you walk past those people in need, even though i used to help them the best i could if i can i love having conversations with them even if my mother says no but most people dont understand how these people feel and they walk past them like their nothing but next time u see someone like that stop and talk to them give them food money even in this hard economy a dollar helps

  • @777Bluestar I love what you said.. I think you laid down a challenge to not ignore those in need, and I accept that challenge for the rest of my life.. <3
