I know the Motorola CLIQ/DEXT MB200 has received the 2.1 Android update - but has the Motorola CLIQ/DEXT MB220 received the ANDROID 2.1 Update aswell or is it stuck to 1.5? I think Cliq is better than Magic. It has very useful Widgets and physical keyboard. Magic doesn't have them but HTC just announced that Magic is getting the "Sence UI" through update, the same used in Hero.

it's kinda gay you can't watch vids on the browser, but there is a youtube app already installed on the phone. Check the motorola site for the Cliq's full features. To each their own tho.

This is the best video of the Motorola cliq, however one part i must critique, when you hold down the icon and it switches the screen its so you may move the icons, its not a design flaw. hopefully you may annotate that and correct it?

actually don't. In Brasil, some website made tests with it, and i think the conversation time, was about 610 minutes. better than the Droid, iPhone, etc..

ive loved the G1 and the android OS but i do want to upgrade to another android phone just so i have a faster phone with a better camera. i didn't upgrade my contract when i got the G1 at launch so when my contract is over soon im debating between this one or moving to verizon for the droid. im leaning toward verizon...im 21 and this looks like a 14yr olds phone...not so much the black one but definetly the white one

Thanks for the awesome review Michael! I have a few quick questions. Does double tap to zoom in the browser work on the Cliq? And when sliding your finger around the screen to navigate when the keyboard is hidden do you feel the screen wiggle at all like some other sliders?

I was disappointed to see its processor but it doesn't seem bad at all in this video.

They run in the background and get closed automatically only when the phone is running out of RAM. Similar to how Windows Mobile works. Smart to get some sort of task manager so you can close out unneeded apps once in a while.

its true, sense ui is great but the phones themselves are not. for starter Hero has a wierd and pocket unfriendly wierd blocky shape and HTC tatto has an overall ugly shape with cheap resistive screen when infact android was designed with capacitive in mind.
