I have read it. Alcorn's arguments are full of flaws. The thing is, overturning Roe will only leave abortion laws up to the states, and so far only a small number of states say they'd make abortion illegal if given the chance. So, women from those states will just drive down the interstate to states where it is legal and have one there. So basically, the laws intention fails. I think you lifies need to come up with more realistic strategies for ending abortion, if that's what you want to do.

That was actually a typo, I forgot to hit the 'o' key twice. However, in the mistake which I was pointing out, there was no typo. It was a completely different case. That said, it must be pointed out that there was already a law on the books offering protection to babies who survived abortion. This is the reason Obama voted against the measures. They already existed. Something else that needs to be stated also, is that even if Roe v Wade were overturned right now, it would NOT stop abortion. It would be a return to the back alley days, and more women and babies would die.
IF Roe V Wade were to be overturned, it absolutely would not return to the "alley days." It would be returned to the States. People could still have abortions. Obamas views on abortion are further left than Pro Choice America. I have read it. Alcorn's arguments are full of flaws. The thing is, overturning Roe will only leave abortion laws up to the states, and so far only a small number of states say they'd make abortion illegal if given the chance. So, women from those states will just drive down the interstate to states where it is legal and have one there. So basically, the laws intention fails. I think you lifies need to come up with more realistic strategies for ending abortion, if that's what you want to do.

Before the Law was passed, babies who survived attempted abortions were either denied medical care and left to die in a pre-designated area within the hospital/clinic, or they were (more kindly) manually asphyxiated.

Yes, but they were arrested on state law in Kentucky, Florida has no such law. The Palin effigy was also taken down today.
Furthermore they violated their colleges rules, whereas the florida case was on private property.
And one more thing. It's "allowed" not "aloud". The first means "permitted", the second means "out loud". Spelling is important.

There is a big difference from a private company paying the government for the use of government land and that money going back to the people and the government TAKING profits in the form of a tax from a private company and passing the cash out.
Alaska has a resource that the STATE was making money off of. There is no better place for the money to go than to the people of Alaska vs the government.
If a private company makes money, they should decide where it should go, not the government.

When typed, spelling should be as correct as possible, a misplaced letter or two is fine. But to use an entirely different word? Not to sharp in my book. In spoken language I am more forgiving.
And in terms of accents? That's not an accent, that's just wrong.

That was actually a typo, I forgot to hit the 'o' key twice. However, in the mistake which I was pointing out, there was no typo. It was a completely different case. If s/he had missed, say, one or two letters and spelled it "alowed" or something I would not have minded. However, confusing "aloud" and "allowed" is a pretty unforgivable mistake in my book.
Furthermore I am unsure what you mean by "maybe you should read that YOU are just wrong TOO."
Are you saying this is written somewhere?

This video evokes strong emotions on this very touchy and difficult subject. That said, it must be pointed out that there was already a law on the books offering protection to babies who survived abortion. This is the reason Obama voted against the measures. They already existed. Something else that needs to be stated also, is that even if Roe v Wade were overturned right now, it would NOT stop abortion. It would be a return to the back alley days, and more women and babies would die.

IF Roe V Wade were to be overturned, it absolutely would not return to the "alley days." It would be returned to the States. People could still have abortions. Obamas views on abortion are further left than Pro Choice America. Obama supports abortion all the way up to term and has him on tape speaking to Planned Parenthood about how his first act as president would be to pass it. I am surprised that he didn't just vote 'present' if there was already a law on the books that prevented this.

I am Pro-Choice to an extent. I believe that the people of the United States should be the ones who determine when where how far, etc abortion should go.

I find myself leaning more toward a pro-choice stance too, and I also wonder about whom Obama would appoint. I believe both candidates have an agenda. Hmm, going off topic in an attempt to make me lose my head. The FACT is that Obama supports abortion for "fetuses" as old as 9 months! Babies that could live outside their mothers womb with forumla or a wet nurse.
As for your comment about science, a baby is able to kick and move inside a mothers womb, and it has traits from both the father and the mother as soon as the sperm meets the egg. Unlike you I actually HAVE studied this and have evidence to back it up, not just a statement.
