I've been to Tibet 8 years ago. And, I saw with my own eyes how bad chinese military treated the innocent Tibetans. I wonder whether the people in the video are real Tibetans. The Tibetans I met in Tibet are couldn't even look at a single chinese soldier because they're too afraid of. Tibetans just want to follow their lives in the Buddha' teaching. nice try...thats not an indian accent at 1:58. its a tibetan accent. tibetan people learning english at a later age or as their second language have that accent. the english is affected by tibetan. plus the tibetan language has lots of pronunciation. so a tibetan moving to germany, france, spain have little or no problem pronouncing the language of any nation.

I enjoyed the first part of this report by the tourist, unbiased, without commentary; and then came the woman's voice which ruined the quality of the repot. "Still putting on a show of force despite international calls for restraint"? What restraint? If there is a riot on the streets endangering people, you send in riot police and end it! The police handcuffed suspected rioters. I see no problem, they destroyed property and disrupted public order, they SHOULD be in jail.

To be fair, I did hear that 8 people were killed in Sichuan, nevertheless, I do believe the riot police showed considerable restraint in Lhasa itself. As for the Indian English accent, that is a very weak argument for Dalai Lama's involvement, it could simply be that person's actual English accent. He could be from Nepal or surrounding areas with that accent, and you simply cannot say that every Tibetan from India or Dharamsala with an Indian accent is linked to the Dalai clique...

I've been to Tibet 8 years ago. And, I saw with my own eyes how bad chinese military treated the innocent Tibetans. I wonder whether the people in the video are real Tibetans. The Tibetans I met in Tibet are couldn't even look at a single chinese soldier because they're too afraid of. Tibetans just want to follow their lives in the Buddha' teaching. That guy from 2:00 has pretty good English, too good, there's no way he grew up in Tibet, hell not even those had english classes since grade school has that good English. He's definately an insurgent from either India or the States.
Ironic isn't it, his publicity stunt gave away their secret.
I'm glad security forces crushed those insurgents, too bad Tibet's economy had been destroyed and its now the local Tibetans that suffers.

Why are the tibetans attacking HAN CHINESE CIVILLIANS? I heard "peaceful", but why did the tibetans carry STICKS and rolling cars and trashing shops?

The guy at 1:58 is Indian? Yeah right. First of all, he clearly has East Asian epicanthic folds over his eyes. He doesn't sound anything like a South Asian, either. Being an Indian, I'm glad India's government stopped Tibetan protesters. Tibet is China's internal issue and Dalai Lama's demand that India takes more rigid stance on Tibet is baseless. He is definitely misusing Indian hospitality and India should kick him out of Dharamshala.
