I love the video's message, and I found it useful for making mini presentations to friends and family and colleagues that I can pull around my computer.
I do want to echo "rcreative1's" concerns about audio/sound quality and the ability to read the sign on the water drop. Maybe even a shorter version.
But I know how long it can take to put even a short video together! I think this is a great start!
I just got thru to the Governor's office to ask for his support on AB 1242-It took about 10 redials, a busy phone today...lots of folks calling re: lots of bills on this desk. DON'T GIVE UP!
The sound quality on the narration makes the video seem amateurish. The interviews are way too long. The handwritten sign held by water drop guy is unreadable. This needs another pass through the video and sound editing processes.
In the midst of the water debate in CA, it is really important to remember low income communities they dont have power to even get clean drinking water and are not at the table when decisions are made. Whether you live in the north, the south, or the valley, we can all agree that everyone should have the right to safe water to drink.
Ask the Governor to sign this bill! He's threatened to reject any bill that doesn't fund canals and dams for delta water, so we know he gives a dam! No reason to think that passing the bill will open the floodgates to creeping socialism. Think of it as another form of trickle-down economics... Hey, this would be fun if it weren't so serious in a state where 150,000 human beings can't access safe, clean water from their taps...
