Terrorists and racists will never succeed and you can call me a plastic paddy all you want, tbh i couldnt give a shit

  • go away facsist tory nazi

  • conservatives=parasites.

  • Thatcher was Evil ; she sold off everything that wasn't bolted to the profit machinery of the Tory Huns;she destroyed every major industry then started to dismantle trade unions taking away peoples' rights at work to help the bosses. She also approved the sale of all the MOD'S maps of The Falkland Isles to Argentina and tried to flog them 4 Harrier jets less than a year prior to invasion. The tories have one policy ;MAKE MONEY!!!(FOR THEMSELVES)..

  • @poulsontheprick You mean that Thatcher freed the taxpayer from supporting loss making enterprises like Telecom, BP, British Airways, British Gas, and so on, which then became profitable and greatly contributed to the economy.

The trade unions were denying rights to their rank and file.

  • @CloeBuckingham I notice you can't answer the points about the falklands; she sanctioned the murder of irish internees in the H block prison system who were condemned to 14 years imprisonment for being arrested near the scenes of bombings with no evidence and no jury presiding (fact). She endorsed and put british soldiers into police uniforms for the miners strike which is against the law but would have saved you Tories a few quid ;you must be proud of her Tobacco promotions in the far east too !

  • @poulsontheprick Minor infractions. She got us the rebate, which Blair gave away so easily.

You never mention points that touch on the national interest.

  • @CloeBuckingham Now i know you're not that well educated about politics!Government of the Rich ;for the Rich By the Rich .CLASS WAR ! THE CODE IS RED ;LONG LIVE THE CODE;LONG LIVE MARXISM!!!!

  • @poulsontheprick Nothing good can be based on class hatred.

  • @CloeBuckingham How can Mega Profiteering contribute ?Money for the Rich ; you are completely out of touch with reality ....

  • @poulsontheprick Profiteering involves raising prices during an emergency. How is it relevant to the discourse?

  • @CloeBuckingham I think that you may be wrong. She conned people into buying shares which they then sold and which were then bought by big business. She also used the revenue from noth sea gas to fund tax cuts for the rich. An ex conservative prime minister Harold MacMillan ridiculed her policies in a famous speech. She was vile. Did you watch the cricket yesterday? Ponting looked really pissed off!

  • @goatface1000 When I buy and sell shares, I take responsibility for my actions. So should anyone. Nobody forced anyone to buy or sell shares. Share ownership greatly expanded under Thatcher. She moved the UK away from a nation of renters to a nation of owners. Anyone who bought and held those shares has done very nicely. Thatcher didn't tell anyone to sell anything.

Before Thatcher, the highest tax rate was 90%. Does that incentivise entrepreneurs to come to the UK or to leave?

  • @CloeBuckingham material wealth does not naturally equal happiness. It wasnt that she just destroyed these industry jobs in parts of this island it was that she didnt have any new industry jobs to fill the void hence the shitholes and chavs that have bred these places.......several papers suggest that these 'chavs' are a legacy of not only the fall of heavy industry but the lack of support under successive governments.....btw I dont like Labour either ;)

  • @3tangle3 "material wealth does not naturally equal happiness" I agree. Australia ranks #2 on the quality of life index, so that's a place to move the chavs.

"didnt have any new industry jobs" I'm not sure what you mean by that. There has been a flowering of biotechnology. Do you mean smokestack jobs? China has those. East Germany had them. They are ecological nightmares.

The problem is the welfare state. Without the dole, the chavs would just have to leave for other parts of the EU.

  • @CloeBuckingham well the tories brought in foreign investment but a significant portion had no loyalty and cleared off pretty quick when conditions became less favourable...so its tough

  • Margaret Thatcher aligned herself with the national interest of the United Kingdom.

Scarsgill was a communist, a traitor, and a turncoat who tried to undermine the Thatcher government.

In most countries, including the USSR at that time, someone who was a traitor to the extent that Scarsgill was would simply have been shot.

I'm sure even Thatcher could have managed that with MI5, but she was a kind, humane ruler.

  • @CloeBuckingham 0h she tried read sheamus milne

  • @CloeBuckingham no of course not--we have talked before--but it does seem that she tried to kill Arthur --another thing maybe you have some input on this coming from the other side--I am from the US. NOW Reagan was every bit rom my point of view as bad as Thatcher but you see the comments-Thatcher provokes a personal hatred that Reagan whose politics I detested never did--seriously I'd like your thoughts why do you think that is--I am not being flip.

  • @vivascargill What is the evidence that Thatcher tried to kill Scarsgill? Scarsgill completed Thatcher. If I were Thatcher, I would want my Scarsgill. Is it not better to have an uncharismatic nemesis like Scarsgill than the embodiment of smarminess itself, Tony Blaire? It is pointless to kill one's enemy when one's enemy is such a buffoon.

I don't understand why anyone would hate Thatcher except the enemies of the British National Interest. She is a goddess.

  • @CloeBuckingham There is a suggestion in Milne's book (which whatever your politics is well researched)

I was just asking what you make of the comments--I was not trying to be glib because as you know I detest her --and Reagan--ok we have different politics but what I was trying to get at was why for some reason she provokes a kind of hatred Reagan seems not to--just a straight question

  • @vivascargill Reagan is an actor. He's congenial. Thatcher is strident. But I hate Reagan's religious overtones. Thatcher's rationale seemed more rational.

  • @CloeBuckingham I think you are on to something--but I don't recall (could be wrong) Reagan having religious overtones--if so they were bogus. I suspect he was playing (acting) to a certain part of the electorate=the "religious right" no equivalent in the UK or is there?

  • @vivascargill There is plenty of Jesus talk in Reagan's speeches and mention of the godlessness of Communism. Thatcher was pro-choice.

  • @CloeBuckingham you may be right--to tell the truth I don't recall I was just interested in your view of the comments--you say it was that she was strident and RR was genial and I agree that is part of it but I sense there is more to it---but I cannot make it out--there is a bitterness in one case that seems lacking in the other Ill think on it if you have any other thoughts let me know

  • @vivascargill Ronald Reagan is a former actor. Margaret Thatcher is a former chemist. Thatcher had an image makeover, but I think the original Thatcher, with her less pretentious accent and fewer airs was more appealing.

  • @CloeBuckingham I don't know--what years were the original Thatcher--someone said it was because she was a woman but I am not sure that is the reaqson

  • @vivascargill After Margaret Thatcher became Prime Minister, she started power dressing, put on a posh accent, etc. The earlier Thatcher seemed more authentic. I don't think she needed to change to be popular. But I think this is just window dressing. Policies trump personality.

  • @CloeBuckingham we are not going to agree I was asking another question--whatever you think of the USSR or Arthur well we are not going to change on that-- I was asking why Reagan does not bring out the passions that Thatcher does--someone suggested it was because she was a woman --I really don't know--so I REALLY am not talking politics here--because they both had the same politics--I also do not know whether an attempt was made on Arthur again not my point.

  • @vivascargill I do not agree that Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan had the same politics, although they certainly pretended to be in alignment. Thatcher supported a woman's right to choose whether to have an abortion. Reagan did not. In the UK, a politician making decisions on religious grounds is unacceptable. In the USA, it is to be expected. This was partly true for Reagan, though Bush is a more extreme example.

  • What is the essential difference between Thatcher and Reagan? The essential difference is that Thatcher was more effectual in transforming the UK than Reagan was at transforming the USA.

This can all be explained in terms of two dimensions, warmth and competence. Thatcher was, to her enemies, cold and competent. That's dangerous. Reagan always seemed warm, even if not always competent. Look up Susan T Fiske's work.

  • @CloeBuckingham yes this seems right--though Reagan made major changes--many on right and left here consider him the most important president since roosevelt (I am using the word important simply to describe one who makes great changes--I am not attaching a political tag to it) but I think you may be right

btw who do you hate more hard leftists or liberals?) But I think you are right

  • @vivascargill Reagan deregulated, so he achieved that goal. But deregulation continued under Bush Sr., Clinton, and W. Reagan also cut regulators, which lead to the S&L debacle. He did not understand that having fewer regulations meant that more regulators were required.

Reagan did not roll back the welfare state. Clinton ended welfare as we know it. And no-one has ended corporate welfare.

Reagan took credit for taking down the USSR. But Afghanistan and cheap oil in the 1980s also did that.

  • @CloeBuckingham so you are saying Thatcher was more "radical"? I actually agree with much of this--the regulation thing -or deregulation thing among the US Right always puzzled me--when I taught high school you had to raise your hand--there were rules the class couldn't work without them--now I'm told there IS a teacher where I used to teach who has NO rules--the kids (true) walk around covered in green paint!!

  • @vivascargill Most free marketeers conceive of it this way: The rules are getting in the way of the market determining optimal prices, satisfying needs, etc. In general, they don't want rules. However, when markets collapse, suddenly everyone wants rules again. I think the rules during the good times can hamper growth a little bit, but they can also help to prevent big crashes.

  • @vivascargill But the banking collapse in the USA was not just about a lack of rules but government's active interference. The government told banks that they must lend money to people who were poor credit risks, and the government did it itself through Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac. This may have been the response to redlining: denying or increasing the cost of loans in poor, usually minority areas. There was also a separation of risks. Those selling loans or the derivatives took no risks at all.

  • @CloeBuckingham True sir. It was a law that Bill Clinton enacted as part of his welfare policy.....

  • @CloeBuckingham Again you are probably right I confess ignorance--still I think rules are necessary for a civilization--of course there is always the risk of making bad ones--unintended consequences which is your point but I think lack of thoughtfully thought out regulation (speeding "improvement" --I have a personal story to tell you about that) leads us to a Hobbesian dystopia--your thoughts?

  • @vivascargill There is no perfect system. Obviously, some regulations are needed to avoid the law of the jungle.

  • @CloeBuckingham I agree--our disagreement is --how much? in some respects I am a luddite in this regard--when I lived in Calif. they improved highway 68--no thought no stop signs etc--well cars started going 100 miles an hour down the road--2 of my students were killed--they were 14.

  • Am a scots european n i tont recignise the union flag or all it stands for x

  • Anything GREAT left in Britain was most suretaily finished off by Thatcher admindstration. A woman whit out real vision and most surely woman whit out hearth. So SU under gorbatchev was good but unified german was bad ?

  • @HonkeyDolemite Thatcher was a great visionary because she was the first to adopt many previously unproved supplies side policies and economic liberalisations. Many other European nations, including relatively socialist ones like Sweden and France, have been trying to reproduce her success. The companies she privatised, BP, Telecom, British Airways, British Gas, etc., etc., etc. went from loss makers, costing the tax payers billions, to profitable enterprises, boosting the economy.

  • @CloeBuckingham Oh the Thatcherian monetarism only thing that it have proved is that you can actually FAIL even with capitalist market economy. Profits goes up and services goes to shitters and reason why her "succeses" havent been reproduces is bechose nobody else is not capable or willing to get into same level of bullying. A thug in skirt no more.

  • Behold the dog faced woman. Burn in hell,Maggie. BTW, stop shitting yourself.

  • The 1984-1985 coal miners' strike lasted nearly a year. If a man cares about the national interest, he is not going to go on strike for a year, affecting British businesses and families. Anyone who does anything that threatens the national interest is fair game. These strikers picked a fight with Thatcher. They thought they could win, but they lost. Why should I care about them? If you cannot take the consequences, don't gamble.

  • Thatcher cared about the national interest. That is why she negotiated the rebate with the EU. However, Blair easily forfeited that rebate, which will cost us hundreds of billions of pounds. However, the rebate is fair to the UK, because UK farms hardly benefit from the common agricultural policy, which benefits countries like France, Italy, and Germany.

Blair also got us into the war in Iraq. But what was the point of that? Iraq produces no more oil today than under Saddam Hussein.

  • Assisting the UK recapture the Falkland's island is in the national interest. Killing communists in Chile has nothing to do with the UK's national interest. If Pinochet does something in the national interest, he is an ally of the UK. Activities that are unrelated to the national interest cannot make him an enemy of the UK.

Why is their a Pinochet? Because there was an Allende. And Allende WAS doing something against the UK's national interest: nationalising our companies in Chile!

  • Tiocfaidh ár lá !!!!

  • I think Blair was way worse, He had an open door policy for immigrants, we are nearing 1 trillion in debt and he got us involved in an ilegal war in Iraq, i suppose you guys won't make a horrible song about him as he was born in Scotland.

  • in comparrison thatcher makes Myra Hindley seem like childminder of the year!

  • Maggie Thatcher you look better in a NAPPY!!!.

When you DIE I will PISS on your grave you british CUNT UP THE I.R.A

  • Pinochet, Free Markets wake up and smell the shite she produced.

  • SOCIALISM!!!!

  • God Bless Mrs Thatcher

  • @midgiemarsh God send her off to hell.

  • I love Maggie. She saved the UK from collapse during a difficult time.

  • @CloeBuckingham wtfayta?

  • the only thing i dread about the death of maggie thatcher is it will probably be on national television news.

what a waste of veiwing time.

  • Great song I hate than woman! CMON THE SCOTS & IRISH!

  • @mullac1980 totally agree thacther was and will always be a CXXT !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Who told you miners slept? prick never been down a mine go to Big Pit Museum and learn something you fool Thatcher fucked Britain Miners out of work whole communties never worked again which led to drug abuse child abuse/neglect and we are still paying now

  • Britain is a communist government hardly any votes 4 tory and david cameron but he is PM then we should have independence

  • @martinpeacock2k9

    Your comment shows several things

1.You have no idea what a communist government is,

2.You do not look at the votes for the general election.

    3. You look for independence over the stupidest of things.

    4. Your grammar needs work.

  • @21509763 Thank you for letting me know.

Then you probably know Margaret Thatcher is the best thing to happen to the UK in the past 50 years. Opposition parties and the House of Commons should have been dissolved, and she should have been made Queen and Prime Minister for Life, ruling Great Britain from the House of Lords and Buckingham Palace.

Thatcher should be venerated as a goddess. We should all build Thatcher stupas and circumambulate them. Any place her name is uttered is a shrine.

  • BaNG ___ fuck it.

  • I thought that music was supposed to be enjoyable or edifying. This song is designed to vilify Margaret Thatcher. It seems that people have forgotten the Winter of Discontent.

What would England have been like with James Callaghan or Niel Kinnock as Prime Minister instead of Margaret Thatcher? It would have been more like East Germany and less like the USA. I don't particularly like either country, but given the pick, I would not choose East Germany.

  • @CloeBuckingham Nevermind Fucking England what about scotland? That bitch took all the jobs from down here put all our shipyards upto England all our metal work factories aswell. Also created the Poll Tax she left penniless shit and poor. The 12 dislikes are accounts made by maggie herself

  • @OrangeFemineBastards If you don't like you job, retrain.

  • @CloeBuckingham, if your profile is anything to go by, you don't remember the Winter of Discontent either...

  • @21509763 The melody is not original, though the lyrics and arrangement are by Sean Brady.

  • when maggie thatcher the old horrible bitch has died out of spite i will put a rubber mask of the evil cow on my mother in law and fuck her out of spite and if theres an irish man who wants to fuck thatcher over then i will be the one to do it up da rebels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Life before Thatcher: - bodies left unburied by striking gravediggers - striking ambulance drivers refused 999 calls - picketing NHS workers prevent hospitals from admitting patients - a carpenter couldn't paint a skirting board! - runaway inflation - sanctions against Ford and 220 companies for giving >5% pay rises - lorry drivers striked, closing petrol stations; farm animals left to starve - railroads shut down by strikes - uncollected waste; rats everywhere - loan from the IMF
  • @CloeBuckingham what a load of nonsense you talk .

  • if the english would swallow there pride just for one momment then they too would dance to this, horrible bitch destroyed the coal mines for the hard working good hearted englishmen, she ripped the hearts from the irish and the english, but i suppose in an ironic way she brought us closer, good on ya maggie

  • Before Thatcher the salary of each miner received 16,000 pounds in subsidies from the British taxpayer. Thatcher ended this unsustainable practice by shutting down only those mines that were losing money. The miners were led by Scarsgill, a Communist. Many miners slept during the night shift rather than working, taking sleeping bags into the mines. The Communist-led miners have no right to bring the whole country to a standstill.

  • @CloeBuckingham maggie thatcher had no right to let the hunger-strikers die

  • @CloeBuckinghamBefore Thatcher the salary bla bla bla cloe buckinham you fool do you think it is easy to work in a coal mine? and to only get paid 16,000 per annum would be an insult so what subsidies? they got paid not enough for a bloody hard job Now we are paying Russians for our energy because we can't produce enough to run the country when there is loads of coal still buried underneath us Thatcher just wanted to bash the Unions because Ted Heath gave in to them she was a twat

  • @jonPaulthefeckin3rd First of all, I never said that the salary was £16,000. I said the subsidy was £16,000. Back in the early 1980s, £16,000 bought quite a bit more than it does now. As a taxpayer, I don't want to pay one penny subsidy to anyone. I don't want to pay one penny above market price. It is morally wrong for the miners and their communist leader Scarsgill to take over the Labour party and use the government as a means of robbing the taxpayer.

  • @jonPaulthefeckin3rd British coal is high in sulfur and blacked the skies. I rather buy Russian gas or Brazilian coal if it is cheaper and cleaner. Why do you want to rob me to support those communists?

Thatcher got the rebate that Blair gave away. She always put the Queen's subjects first, not the corrupt Europeans with their mafia-exploited farm subsidy schemes. I want a leader who defends me. If I were living in the Falklands, Ted Heath would have just sold me out to the Argies.

  • @CloeBuckingham Taking Factorys Away from scotland. Metal Works ShipYards Miner Jobs LOOK UP ur history cause when that auld bitch dies scotland will be on fkin strike!

  • @OrangeFemineBastards The UK was bankrupt and borrowing money from the IMF when Margaret Thatcher ascended to 10 Downing Street. Are you saying that it would have been possible to balance the budget without looking for new sources of revenue? Margaret Thatcher was also doing that through privatisation.

  • @CloeBuckingham Taking Factorys Away from scotland. Metal Works ShipYards Miner Jobs LOOK UP ur history cause when that auld bitch dies scotland will be on fkin strike! she brought in half the taxes we pay nowadays also

  • @OrangeFemineBastards all that coal and steel was costing more to produce than have people on the dole thanks to Unions halting modernisation and making companies employ far more people than were needed. Please tell everybody how you balace the books producing something at a loss year after year. No one would buy UK products becuase they were too expersive thanks to a clumsy workshy ethic so steel and coal sat in yards up and down the country.

  • @jonPaulthefeckin3rd Working in a mine is a lifestyle choice, just like sodomy and cross dressing and whatever else. Nobody puts a gun to a boys head and says, "Quit school and go work in a mine." UK primary and secondary education is free, and higher education is highly subsidised. People have choices. Nobody is forced to work in a mine. As you point out, it is a "bloody hard job." It's dirty and dangerous. So let's celebrate the end of British mining and encourage work that is more edifying.

  • @CloeBuckingham dont talk crap...!

  • @kojak543 looks true to me, i suggest you go learn about it before telling people that are right they are talking crap

  • @CloeBuckingham You weren't even born when that fucking old bag came to power and fucked up millions and millions of ordinary peoples lives(and they weren't miners) and now you dopey british have voted yet again a tory government in, and now the same old shit starts again with cameron!

  • What is wrong with balancing the budget? Cameron inherited a mess from Labour. He's just trying to clean up the mess. Labour deficits are unsustainable.

Cameron is a wet Tory. I like my Tories extra dry. Might I suggest

Daniel Hannan MEP: The devalued Prime Minister of a devalued Government

  • @CloeBuckingham The Irish don't like Thatcher because she had the gonads to stand against them and didn't buckle under the pressure of their their threats or murderous campaign!

  • @muv1912 The english working class were cheering on brighton

  • Ah yes. Bobby Sands. I remember him. The guy they buried in a billiard cue case!

Born weighing 7 lbs 10 oz. Died weighing 8 lbs 2 oz!!

  • ireland will be partying hard wen she dies cant wait

  • @ballylucas2k8 And you think England won't be partying when the hatchet faced old trout dies too?

  • I still hate Thatcher !!! Best regards from Hamburg St.Pauli !

  • in the words of frankie boyle, her funeral will cost millions, and ffor that you could pay every irishman to have a shovel(he said scot) and you could pass her over to satan personaly. best thou, the 1st time the 21 gun salut would be aimed @the coffin

  • They'll do wise to build public lavatory that old whores grave.

  • ILL HEAT ONE END OF A STICK THEN STICK THE COLD END UP HERE MINGE SO SHE CAN'T PULL IT OUT!

  • @vivascargill she will die roaring

  • @32eire32jim when?

  • @vivascargill Hopefully she will live for a long, long time, riddled with every mental illness that comes with old age. May her bones seize up and creek every time she moves a muscle, may she wet herself on a continual basis, unable to communicate to her nurse that the shit and piss that is leaking from her orrifice is causing an unbearable itch but she is unable to scratch at it because of her immobility. May she die roaring

  • @32eire32jim mental illness is not enough--she has to die in agony--her brain just able to feel the knife the flame and the hammer I want shove up her ass

  • @32eire32jim I think her brain is like block of wood now she doesn't feel pain--the lady's for BURNING!!!

  • @vivascargill Are you seriously suggesting that Baroness Margaret Thatcher be cremated alive? And that is civilised and she isn't? I think you just surrendered the moral high ground.

  • Damn won't the whore die!! Hitler and Cromwell are getting impatient!!

  • i-am-a-republican-that-being-said-maggie-was-every-bit-as-evil-to-the-ordinary-working-class-english-person-as-she-was-to-the-irish-she-was-not-a-monarchist-or-a-conservative-she-was-and-is-a-corporatist-she-loved-and-was-bought--and-paid-for-by-big-business-all-the-deaths-and-unemployment-were-the-wish-lists-of-ibm-bp-ford-all-the-corps-that-paid-for-her-career-she-will-not-be-remembered-kindly-when-she-passes

  • Thatcher what you did to our brave ten men of ireland will never be forgotten your time is coming and no one will shed a tear for you.

  • @buckfastred she will burn with cromwell churchill and the black and tan scum--why is she taking so long?

  • thatcher was a legned fuck adams and the rest of u provos
