  • My favorite Canuck of all time! He was an incredible player in his prime, that shot from the hashmark was nearly unstoppable.

  • interesting to see what would have happened had that bitch moore didnt jump at nazzy with a flying elbow to the head.

  • ah my old goal horn lol I watched Canuck home games cause of that sound before! but I also watched cause I respect the hard work they put in, although Naslund and Bertuzzi could not get us the ultimate prize, it was always worth watching these guys. But now its a new team led by Henrick may be Marcus is right the Canuck fans dream's will come true soon:)

  • Shorthouse needs to listen to Cuthbert to learn how to call a game with inflection, enthusiasm and timing......as a Canucks' fan, Shorthouse simply puts me to sleep..... it's tough after listening to a legend (Robson) growing up - Shorthouse would make a great librarian though.:)

  • @fastfootedone well I'm glad I'm not the only one who is board of Shorthouse he's a nice guy but very lame lol

  • NASLUND NIGHT TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL BE THERE, AND IT WILL BE ONE OF THE MOST EMOTIONAL NIGHTS TO EVER TAKE PLACE IN ROGERS ARENA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Perfect wrister from classic Nazzy, I was at the game where he scored 4 vs the Pens, his old team. Cuthbert is awesome as always, Now I remember why Greg Millen was so annoying, even when he was praising the Canucks he still sounded annoying

  • I hate the Canucks now, But I used to love them when they had the big line of Bert, Nazzy and Mo. This brings back good memories.

  • @BSabres87 couldnt have said it better myself! loved watching this team, todays team fails to compare to the excitement of the Westcoast express days

  • That would be the last time he used that wrister.

  • Haha look at Quenneville, he still had some brown left in his hair! hahaha

  • @thewoo yes it is, i uploaded it a year or so ago

  • Chris Cuthbert is so enthusiastic, gotta like him.

  • Nazzy and Jovo... those were good times! Glad to see Jovo having a little resurgence with Phoenix these days, even if I enjoyed seeing Burrows and the Sedins make him look silly the other day.

  • fuck man canucks were so good back then too bad louy wasnt with us then...

and fricken jovo in front.. never shulda traded that guy :(

  • We wouldn't have gotten him if we didn't TRADE for him

We lost him via Free Agency

  • Jovo poking Pronger in the eye hahaha

  • GO CANUCKS GO!

  • Jovo with the screen plus with Naslund's laser shot to the top corner; No chance for Osgood.

  • isnt that st.louis coach on the chicago blackhawks right now?

  • Yes thats Joel Quinville

  • Although I think a high scoring big hitting Canadian is the best kind of captain to take into the playoffs, Nazzy truly led us in all offensive categories, and was the highest scoring forward in the NHL over a 3 year period. No one had more points. We should be proud to have had nazzy in his prime and as our captain, i know I am. That Nazzy shot is just sick, standard stuff for him. He's def lost a step it seems now a days, but he was a seriously smart player and held onto the puck well.

  • oh man, its great to nazzy like this. im so glad we had nazzy in his prime.

  • I want jovo back

  • get ready for a rematch

  • vintage nazzy

  • Pens gave up on him too soon, Craig Patrick was a good general manager but that is probably the one trade he regrets the most

  • lol i love jovos reaction on pronger

  • Ill never forget what Nazzy did for us. During a 3 years period before and after this season no one had more points than Nazzy. He was the most exciting player during that time. Thanks for the memories Nazzy.

  • I miss da old days of Nazzy, Cooky Bertuzzi and Jovo not 2 mention morrison

  • In Naslunds day that was his spot always on the power play, and it didn't matter who was in net everyone knew the shot was coming from him but no one could stop it! Naslund was really good for us! GO CANUCKS GO!

  • I miss this team. They had such promise. Jovocop, Big Bert, Nazzy, and Mo They were so good. It's sad that they Blew the team up.

  • if we had a goalie we would have won the cup

  • WEST COAST EXPRESS FTW

  • classic naslund

  • what a snipe. naslund's a great player! I'll never forget his contributions to the Canucks.

  • what a goal nice

  • How about that you Chris sis! I beat you in front of the net! Chris Pronger...fucking cheap ass...I hate him..

  • i miss Jovo the most had the most heart of canukcs and looke passionated out there

  • Anyone else remember that shot and that big line? ahh better days.

  • too bad pronger owns jovanovski

  • He's a damn good player, what's he supposed to do, get good set-ups from Ritchie and Cowan? Wooo, look out for that line, it's crap-tastic!!!

  • I agree 100% bro. They took away his assets and expected him to be better than ever playing on a defense first team.. Give Naslund a break guys. 65/55 points for a guy playing with 4th liners is damn good. GIVE THE MAN SOME TALENT TO WORK WITH!

  • he'll be playin with scotty G in the big apple

  • Scotty G is well over rated, i can't believe how much people cling to this guy as if he were some super star. He's simply not. A good player? ya, but not great.

  • i think thats the definition of top corner

  • Markus Naslund

    2000-2001: 41 goals, 34 assist = 75 points

    2001-2002: 40 goals, 50 assist = 90 points

    2002-2003: 48 goals, 56 assist = 104 points

    2003-2004: 35 goals, 49 assist = 84 points

The prime of Naslund. I wish I could relive it again...

  • he'll be back, now that hes with the rangers.

  • damnn right

  • What a beautiful shot, I wish Nazzy could still wrist it like that

  • Cookes goal is on youtube

  • from game 1 vs minny?? i don't think so; i've only seen the calgary one.

i've been looking for a clip of that everywhere, and have yet to find anything. the snapshot from that moment is one of my favourite pictures ever.

thewoo, get off your lazy ass and do it. ;)

  • yeah the cooke goal against minny is on youtube

  • Just search "Matt Cooke 1.2" and it will come up

  • Hey buddy upload game 1 and game 3 of the Minnesota series please! Naslund had a 2 goal game and it was come from behind victory! Game 3 was very good as well with the Sedins winning the game on the power play!

  • He doesn't have the shoulder anymore.

Do you have any of the Wild highlights Woo?

  • Filthy shot. Why doesn't he make those shots anymore?
