Raise the C up a semitone to the mayor scale for the melodic minor!?!? maybe im not understanding but the melodic minor i know if want to get the pattern through the mayor scale (sorry my english is not so good o.O) its LOWERING the E by a Flat so ull get this:

C - D - Eb - F -G - A -C

Ergo (pretty matrix) the C melodic minor scale ^.^

Well if you are comfortable with the major mode shapes, the way I suggest you remember the melodic minor is just to raise the C up a semitone. In the key of C major obviously.

by far your best video. some good choices with the outside notes and the sliding into phrases sounds really well done. i dont know how adept your are with your theory but try in corporating the 3 other types of pentatonics that can be used over a vamp in E.

haha, my bad, i knew it was one of the two, its just a small difference anyhow, i do love it whatever it is, i have a teacher into jazz fusion, so he does a lot of both, hes not a shredder or anything, loves his fenders and prs guitars, and then there is me, im the guy who likes ibanez and all of the rest of the super strat companies, and im more into your thing, but what im getting to is that im still learning the concept of the two, modal theory i got, i havent practiced this enough.
