  • Great video, Nice cam-angles...What was that last guy doing? Fun to watch...5*

  • the last guy was having problems...

  • Nice backings Gary. I'm sorry I couldn't see the whole ending... had to speed it up a bit. It was getting me nervous. I felt some kind of frustration. Like wanting to get off and do it for him. I think I wouldn't be able to see him backing on a truckstop... lol

Maybe a newbie, maybe a bad day, maybe bad luck. Who knows.

  • maybe all of the above...

    thanks Irreo!

  • OMG the ending was irritating u turn the wheel right to make the trailer turn left WOW SIMPLE CONCEPT LOL 5*

  • well, we all have to learn sometime. some longer than others, i guess. thanks for the comment!

  • @FutureTruckerSet: The concept is not turn wheel to the opposite side. The concept is push the pivot (truck/trailer) point backwards, keeping in mind where your cab is facing to, with what angle, and when you need to steer so you push the trailer in the proper direction.

Trailer doesn't move just as you move the wheel, it does when the cab has changed position.

Not as simple as move the wheel ;)

  • well u get wat im trying to say... obv. it aint that easy otherwise there would be alot less accidents

  • hey great vid. like the angles

  • thanks for stopping by! Gary

  • Good stuff Gary. Love the angles and the 1st mounting location!

  • thanks, Mr. Tex! had it mounted on the spot mirror.

  • if that was me backin..they would have had an even BIGGER pile [3:45] of broken glass on the left too!!!..lol

  • when we first started hauling this glass, the pile was bigger and the pallets of bottles was 4 deep along the wall. thanks for watching!

  • A pull-up resolves a bad backing situation.

  • yeah, maybe one or two, but almost 20 minutes worth?

  • Maybe one or 37 of them. Its my favorite bit of advice for a backing difficulty.

  • That must have been a new driver you were waiting on for that dock.

  • i think he was.

  • BTW Gary you got a bit close to James there at 130

    lmfao

  • yeah, i had to edit out about 90 seconds while i waited for him to back in that door.

  • LOVE the angles Gary! Did you get new equipment too? VERY nice!!!!

  • OK...I shouldn't NOT say this...BUT

OMG! Gary...how big are your balls?

I can't believe where you are filming! LMFAO! LOVE IT!!! but damn!!! Ok, LOVE IT!

  • well, i don't work for them. not too sure they would say anything...

  • They won't . OMG..U know I love to tease you!

    lol!

  • i just thought you liked talking about my big balls...

  • naw, same old stuff i always use...just put it outside and hoped it didn't fall off the truck and get run over.

  • It's way cool Gary, great job!!

  • thanks, ZT! how you feeling this weekend?

  • I blew a f n stitch and have to return to work on Wednesday..hoping it will heal back up by then! Thanks for asking. I miss FA.

  • blew a stitch? i've never heard of that malfunction. ripped a stich, yes. blew one, no. makes it sound like it was in pieces all over the highway.

  • LMAO! leave it to me to come up with a way to ....ya you know !

  • Me I would of just drove over the pile and found a dozer to pull me out, damn that last few minutes was painful to watch, like rubbing your eyes with broken glass.

  • painful cause of his efforts or of mine trying to hold the camera still?

  • probably both Gary, lucky you had enough battery to film it all.

  • ha ha ha. too funny, Grant! the guy waiting to load him was cussin' up a storm. i missed some of the best parts of this little episode.

  • I could see him hopping around on the dock,he probably loaded everything ass backwards,to get back at him lol.

  • and whats with the May drivers, why cant any of them back. LOL should we ask steve

  • this guy looked like he was fresh out of school and it is harder to hit that dock than it looks.

  • ok do you ever get flats duw to the broken glass or is it to fine

  • so far, so good. i haven't had a flat yet. i've actually had to pull into the pile (it used to be even closer to the docks) and still didn't suffer any damage. it is a pile of reject wine bottles.

  • what does the green light mean?

  • green means you can back in or pull out of the dock. if the lights are red, they are going in and out of the trailer.

  • The red light /green light system...is where I work! Cool huh?

  • what is your job

  • I work in the office of this...where Gary is backing up, shipping facility. HOW you think I met Gary!! He comes into my work all the time. He is a great guy!!!

  • Very well done!

  • But it was one of Ryan's trainee's

  • not sure who Ryan is...

  • Steve's "alter" ego...His video of a swift driver. He was Ryan...

  • huh, never saw that one...

  • I'll send it to you! : )

  • thanks, gdiesels!
