You don't knee your dog in the chest. How would you like it if I knee'd you in the chest?
Just ignore the dog when he jumps and praise when he puts all 4 feet back on the floor. He will soon learn that calmness gets a reward, not cracked ribs. You may know how much power to use to knee your dog, but others might not, and cause serious injury. This is a very bad example to show the public, and not how proper dog trainers teach handlers. This disgusts me!
@spicyninjaicom Well it just goes to show what sort of a person you are! You use violent unnecessary tactics on your dog, and you're abusive to other people too. Why call me an idiot?
PEOPLE, there are safer, more calmer ways of training your dog not to jump. If you show a dog violence then he can become violent. Keep your dog calm when training. If you love your dog, why hurt it? Totally unnecessary!!!!
My puppy wants to jump up on me all the time. I will remember that and see if it helps him. I was working with him some to get him to sit and the puppy didn't catch on to that too well. If I can stop him from jumping up on me maybe he will concentrate on learning other things after that. He has left two scars on my arm from being scratched several times by him jumping. Thanks so much for the tip.
Aron loves to jump on people and even to kids near next to our house. And I am afraid that when he started to jump he sometimes scratch my skin. What else I can do to train my dog not to jump. I need some tips and advice. Thanks!

That is not the proper way to stop your dog from jumping. You can injure your dog or yourself.
