  • I have no idea why people would dislike this video - is it wrong for them to remove their shed or something?! LOL

  • Any body got any geckos by the 323 area

  • what morph is that ?

  • finger licking good sorry had to say that cute gecko I am getting one soon.

  • Sooooo cute!

  • is she a fat tailed gecko? or which kind? shes beautiful

  • lol it seems like it tastes good

  • What is He Saying in The Backround?

  • @davieholifield He's saying (well, I'm saying) "are you getting this?" Then "are you taking a video of her entire body or just her head and legs?"

  • shes striping

  • shes hungry then duh

  • I need help! My gecko usually sheds properly but from this year she stopped shedding properly. After she sheds there would be shed stuck to her head and its really driving me crazy because I am forced to take it off. And whats more concerning is that the shed is on her left eye and cannot open it. I do not want to remove the shed from the eye because I am afraid of damaging it. Any suggestions?

  • @c00lb0y10 Go to this forum called Reptile Rooms (just google it).

Post your problem there (or even better, do a search first). Wonderful forum. You'll find tons of information there. I think you need to keep your gecko's environment a bit moist come shedding time.

  • @sepandee thank you so much!!!

  • @c00lb0y10 I dont have one yeaght. but how it sounds I say mabye take it to the vet.

  • when a gecko sheds its skin does it have a different clour of skin undneath plz get back to me

  • @scooterkieran13 I'm not sure about other species, but with my leo, the green and yellow and black colors turn very pale (almost white-ish) before she sheds, and once shedding is done, her colors come back again and everything looks bright.

  • hey guys do you wana know how to make the best humidity hide then message my channel asking me and ill tell you it will cost you nothing. and its grate 4 sheding!!!

  • @MrRobotkid No you "shouldn't." It's not a must. Only if your gecko has trouble shedding, and mine doesn't.

  • yo i have a lepard geckos to and you have to spray him or she with warm water cause it moisturnes his skin and it helps him gets his skin of of him easier and if you dont get the skin off of him soon then his hands will get all red and thats a bad sighn and i got this from a vet

  • cool greenish colored leo!!!

  • My cat crapped on me last night while I was asleep!

  • dont you wish you could help them :(

  • what kind of gecko is this as in breed

  • leopard

  • @sepandee its so nice. could you give me info on all the stuff i need to get if i bought one.... and how much aswell please ....

  • You'll need a 15-20 gallon tank, 2 hides (one in the warm spot, one in the colder spot), a dish for water, a substrate (can be paper towel, but there are also special mats for this... DO NOT BUY WOOD OR SAND as they can digest it), a method to keep one section of the tank warm (I have an electric pad that sticks under the tank, works very well), a thermometer to make sure the warm section of the tank is in the right temperature range, maybe a net or something for the gecko to climb up of,

  • actually a 10 gallon is just fine.

  • THe list is getting too long. Just go to reptile forums ddoott ccoomm. They have a great forum over there.

And remember, geckos are neither toys nor pets like dogs that you can interact with. They don't keep you amused. If you're just getting one because it's pretty, then forget about it. You have to be a responsible pet owner and willing to put the time to take care of your gecko

  • so cute one

  • lol this has excactly the same color like mine. check my profile I think I uploaded a geckomovie there. AND no im no spammer I dont even care about subscribers etc.

  • do they eat their shedded skin?

  • Yup

  • most of the time, some times they dont eat all of it...

  • thats a good looking gecko

  • 0:47 mmmm the taste of a lizard finger :)

  • wow i can not wait until my gecko grows up and mine is just a baby and i got her today and i want her to be trained and hopefully she will

  • Well, there's no training really. She/he'll just have to get used to you. And when it does, that still doesn't mean it'll be your best bud! Geckos are either very friendly and will crawl up your hand every single time, or they're not that social. You can't "train" them into being one or the other.

  • ya u dont really have to train them, they love the heat coming from ur hand, after all they aaaarrreee cold blooded, i just put my hand in my terrerium and he hops right on

  • oh shiiiiiit this one looks freaking awsome man. niice colour

  • Thanks dude

  • Aww, it's so precious!

  • Yup, she is :)

  • If your Leopard Gecko has trouble shedding, put it in a cup of luke-warm water for about 5 minutes. This should help soften the skin, making it easier for him/her. If your leopard gecko doesn't do well with that method, try spraying him/her with a spray bottle. Whatever you do DO NOT HELP HIM/HER SHED!!!

    Thx, PieLady007

  • I just had a question... why aren't you supposed to help them shed? is it because it hurts? or what?...

  • pause at 0:09

its like grr look at my claw!

  • Your gecko looks healthy!!! Nice.

  • I was asking not telling

    ^^

    sorry

  • I thought you had to leave them alone while they shred

it is very painful for them

they dont like to be handled alot

  • says who? Dr. Dolittle?

    She's fine.

  • lol..... i like that movie ^_^

  • its shed not shred

  • i pictured him eating a candy bar............

  • i got a leopard gecko about a year ago and i dont understand why they eat the skin.... snakes dont eat their skin

  • yo recylce nutrients

  • For the calcium and nutrients in their skin.

  • Can any one tell me how often they clean out there leos vivarium or terrariam because i read that its once every 6 months!

  • who's "they?" If you meant to say how often should one clean out the ter. of a leopard gecko, the answer is every 2-4 months.

  • thats what i ment to say thanks

  • i got told every month

  • CAN ANYBOY look at my vid and tell me wut morph my leopard gecko iz thx

  • yeah true. leos always sheds no matter how old they are. dont know about fat tailers then :) and I believe he died cause he had some old skin around his toes? or mouth or eye area? if they stay therel ong enough that can kill them :( sometiems that may happene even if u they got wetbox

  • i remember the first time i saw my first leo shedding. sadky she died. But now i got a fat tail gecko whose fully grown now so... she doesnt shed no more

  • As far as I know - and I might be wrong - leopard geckos always shed. But they usually shed at night when you don't see them.

Why did your first leo die?

  • wow she is very cute! teeny compared with mine - unless your hands are very big ;o) My Gecko is around the same age 18 months. I have just uploaded a vid of her shedding - she is in her hide though so kinda hard to see!

  • thank goodness.

she does look very happy with you!

  • please tell me she got the last bits off!

(even though it was two years ago)

  • yes she did :)

  • are you supossed to help them or let them do it by them self?

  • Let them do it by themselves. It's a good idea to check they've shed everything though, especially around their fingers cuz sometimes they don't get it and they can drop a finger

  • when my geck sheds it licks its eyeballs

  • thats BEAUTIFUL gecko and i luv how he has a smily face on his head lol now thats cute :)

  • beautiful

  • mmm tasty.

  • my geckoe never sheds any1 wana tell me why

  • Probably because it has grown.

  • lol its like she has cheese on her fingers

  • after all,all of that shedding it all payed off nice gecko absolutely gorgios or how ever you spell it

  • i know when my leo gecko is going to shit...

(it lays down when it does) hahahah

i just had to say that...

  • cool colors what kind of lepard gecko is it

  • Looks like a normal, maybe high yellow

  • how do u know when its gonna take a shit

  • you don't. And why would you need to know?

  • cool

  • Nice Gecko.

  • sweet

  • fuck you

  • ???

  • I apologiz my 7 year old did this and will not be on the computer for a while.

  • that would be funny if he bit hif finger off

  • its like it has peanut buter on his hands

  • She's Such a Pretty leo.

    =]

  • aww so cute you cant pull that off to

  • put him in a bowl of warm water just enough to fill his feet in that should help any shed problem for a leopard gecko

  • ive had my leo for 9 months & ive never seen him shed =[ how can you get the timeing right ?

    thanks x

  • your gecko's color obviously changes right before shedding. If you really want to see it shed, then check on it frequently when you see the change in color.

  • They get lighter over a couple or few days, then really dark and then white and then they shed. Its because they're developing the new layer of skin, then they have two layers (hence the dark) and then the old layer detaches (hence the white) and then they shed. Rarely do they ever do it during the day. Check out my shedding video, I caught my gecko during the day.

  • aww. how cute.

  • nice gecko

  • Ah dor a ble

  • thanks. She's indeed very cute.

  • my gecko can never get the shed off of his back right foot... it's like clockwork.

  • so cute!

  • this is the cutest gecko i've ever seen!!

  • what kind of leo is that. i am jelous

  • ooo very nice leo, got mine a couple weeks ago =) he/ or she i dont know yet :O but is a baby and is very cute and getting used to me =). but just letting you know if your leo doesnt get the old skin off there toes very well, use a q-tip or swab and moisturize it, and gently take the skin off for her, it will help. thanks, nice vid! =)

  • You aren't supposed to hold them when they are shedding....

  • it was the end of it, and she decided to crawl up on my hands. I think it's fine. She's obviously comfortable ... and extra cute!

  • aww dont they look cute when animal and nature are ya know its just beautiful nice geck btw i'm getting mine soon check out my channel and subscribe

  • make sure theres no more skin on his toes when hes done because if the skin stays on after a while it could loose its toes due to constriction of blood

  • i know, thanks. I check it her toes from time to time.

  • looks cute

  • that is a beautiful geco

  • what kind of geco is that were did you get it how much was it

  • It's a leopard gecko, I got it as a birthday gift. Not sure how much they can cost, but I've seen them for $40-100 in different pet stores. Check the "Reptile Rooms Forum" (do a google search) for information on the best online sellers.

  • it is a beautiful leopard gecko

  • mmmm! lol

  • Aww that's cute. I'm almost certain that my gecko has something wrong with her legs :( They don't look straight like your gecko's legs. I have a video showing it.

  • Thanks.

Which leg are you referring to, cuz I couldn't see anything.

And what's the song in your background? I gotta get that!

  • aww she is cute i have 2 leopard geckos and there names are lealo and leon

  • how old is your leo??

  • Right now she's 2 years and 1-2 months old, but at the time of this video she was ... well, you do the calculation! a year and 6 months old?

  • so cute do you think i should get 1 ?

  • depends. If you have the time and money and you think you would be attentive, then yes. Then can get expensive sometimes, especially when they're sick and have to see a vet. Also, think of holidays: will there be anyone taking care of it while you're gone?

    Rewarding experience though.

  • k i got a bit of a stupid question here but im a bit of a noob at careing for leopard geckos. If you get a female Leo but never mate her will she still lay eggs?

  • she could, but the eggs won't be fertile.

  • aww man thts well cute bet it was expensive tho lol im gettin a corn snake soon :D and i dnt no how to tell the sign if its gna sred lol thx

  • reptilerooms dot com, you can get TONS of help in the forum section.

Gego thanks you for the compliments :D

  • Last but not least, to help the change of the old skin, put an humidity hide inside the box.. and keep a little higher the humidity in the enclosure.

  • i already have that, but thanks :)

  • for some reason my gecko dont get along with me very well ... i hadd it around a month now. but everytime i try to hold it, it bite me :[

    anyone got any suggestion?

  • 1st, i suggest you ask your questions on reptileroomsDOTcom it's a great forum. 2nd, it took my gecko 4-6 months before she warmed up to us. I imagine your gecko bites you because you try to handle her. If she doesn't like it, then don't force it, cuz a) that's just wrong, and b) you'll get bitten. Try putting your hands in the vivarium everyday for a couple of minutes. Do this for a couple of months and let her get used to you.

  • how old is it? cause if its under 4-5 months old they dont like to be handle that much.

  • that is so cute! =]

  • wow,she looks very happy with you, good job mate!

  • Thanks mate! Yeah she's a happy girl :D

  • Haha I love her face, she looks very sweet.

  • I apologize about the "f*!# you" comment. My 7 year old just picked that up after hearing my 14 year old. He is well aware of how rude that was. SORRY!

  • No problem. I know I'll be dealing with similar situations a couple of years from now! Best of luck.
