sounds good in theory but how would the computer determine spamming? personally i like to use storm's whirlwind in order to stop people from using wolverine's combo that starts with the falling drop kick
@sakonhagakure they could put in a list of moves that are spammable and more than x number used back to back is spamming. i.e. (yes I know this will look bad but it is psudo code)

etc. I 'm sure there are ways and I'm sure capcom should be the first to do it since they have time to gouge people endlessly with dlc they could add from the start
deadpool is good especially if paired with someone like wolverine as soon as he does neutralize do quick work then cutting time after cuttin time you can go into either fatal claw or weapon x with wolverine

What about LVL 3 X Factor Sentinel? All my friend does is save him for last, then circle circle circle circle.... If I get close he does the low sweep kick into high kick, launching me in the air. ITS so annoying, and hes trash at the game--doesnt know any mechanics at all. Just spams with iron man, wolverine and sentinel.
@bkzsoulja To beta super armour either pick moves that hit twice really fast like Taskmaster's Heavy attack, block it and punish afterwards or if all else fails pick Spencer and keep away from him, when he tries to use his superarmour normals DON'T use Bionic Arm as it's only a 1 hit and you will get punished for it, use his other Hyper that is the grappling hook as that will always beat his armour, this goes for all of spencers grappling hook moves so just jump away and use M Grappling Hook.
That's how I got the achievement for beating arcade mode on highest difficulty on the 3rd day I had it. I made a team of Doom, Sentinel and Arthur and spammed the shit out of the computers! :D

For the Sentinel Force, you can simply switch to the Divine Mirror and use the Sub-Solar Flare as a reflector. I always reflect any spammer projectiles and imagine their reactions.
@McYellowfish Until she has 5 bars of super. Dark Phoenix + X Factor + Healing Shield = You not doing shit to her. She can recharge her health so fast that her low HP is pretty much canceled out as a factor. And on top of that, she can kill any character in three hits with anything that's NOT a special. One of her specials is pretty much a kill, and the chip damage down is like 40% of your health. Phoenix is broken as shit if you use her right.
Hyper charging star along side ironmans proton cannon stop all spamming techniques no lie the shields immune to all projectiles. I've literally had cap go through a cross over cmbinatin of 3 supers wih projeciles sentinel amaterasu and akuma. Ironmans there just incase they do a physical attack which always beats the hyper charging star sadly.
@DarkSchneider005 neutralize and missile all the fucking time. a small variation is jumping towards you do a little crappycombo ending with hyper combo spam

Yeah, that was all well and good. But you're forgetting that spammer who use Sentinel usually pair him up with assist characters who spam as well. Like, when Sentinel is shooting those lasers and those little drones here comes Dr. Doom with his missles or rocks. Or the worst, I played this dude who used Sentinel, Task Master, and Dr. Doom. You had lasers, drones, rocks, and upwards arrows going on the whole match. I had a very hard time getting close or getting in the air for that matter!!!

Since Zero is my main fighter I face a lot of Sentinels...but since I play simple mode for him I used the camera to my favor by super jumping in the air charging a full buster shot. let it go as soon as you fall down then you use the electric attack to catch sent of guard then combo. it worked so well I made someone rage quit.
@dbrocker30 use wolverine's slide (downforward medium attack followed by a drill claw then combo. Practice the timing in training- it's tricky. Dante- overhead teleport then special attack button into a combo.

I used Chris'! The crazy thing is I took down more than half this guys energy before he caught on! It was funny just like you said! This video isnt very good at explaining how to counter spammers in that the enemy sentinel is just using his laser and no assists.
try doing any of what you just did when he's using amaterasu or any other projectile spammy tag team member while doing his spam. And maybe actually have a better spammer than sentinel in there who shoots faster projectiles. The spam you're showing is lame.
felicia is one of the best sentinel/spammer counters, she can run around projectiles and her hyper where she summons a little cat girl that jumps up and attacks destroys sentinel due to its size.

Not downing this video but i'm sure these tactics are specified for projectile sentinel spammers. I've gone up against a sentinel that took out my entire team by using his lightning ball super spam. he can continually use it with no penalty.
Do you have any tips on how to deal with Arthur/Sentinel spam? I ran into an Arthur today who was constantly spamming projectiles along with the rocket drone assist with Sentinel.
I used that Cap counter for along ass time (well since release but aye). Man, why you have to show that counter? I felt special taking down Sent with Cap's throw into charge, I felt like I was a secret ninja master that had some sort of special non-scrub tech. Now, you've ruined me... I'm am only normal :(
You missed Felicia's "Kitty's Helper" the little kitty goes against Sentinel and you can press down+ D hit with felicia many times so the kitty helper will hit Sentinel xD
I made it just once with spiderman, he fucked up one asistance with Dr. Doom and use my ability to go to the other xtreme of the screen, the rest was a piece of cake, because sentinel it's too slow compared with spidey, deadpool and ryu wich is my team. Sadly i played again with the same fucking guy and got pwned with his sentinel+dr. Doom lol

Aren't you forgetting assists? Handling Sentinel spamming is as simple as air dashing, running under his beams, etc. What makes Sentinel spam difficult to handle is it's coupled with a good assist like Doom missiles.
omg ryu's hadokens are so strong in this game, now we gotta find a way to stop ryu from spamming hadokens, i mean everyone is whining about sentinel but, seriously im more worried about this hadoken -cannon karateguy!

Hsen-ko has an attack immunity I like to use. As long as shes glowing gold she wont respond to attacks though she still takes damage.

I use she hulk a lot and i've found that if you time it properly, you can use her slide attack (down, B) in between his attacks and get up close.

Since Zero is my main fighter I face a lot of Sentinels...but since I play simple mode for him I used the camera to my favor by super jumping in the air charging a full buster shot. let it go as soon as you fall down then you use the electric attack to catch sent of guard then combo. it worked so well I made someone rage quit.

@dbrocker30 use wolverine's slide (downforward medium attack followed by a drill claw then combo. Practice the timing in training- it's tricky. Dante- overhead teleport then special attack button into a combo.

I used Chris'! The crazy thing is I took down more than half this guys energy before he caught on! It was funny just like you said! It was like he never experienced someone countering his spam...at least not with Chris. Once I got Sent outta the way, it was a wrap from there. He spammed Chun-li's kick combo, but I managed. This video isnt very good at explaining how to counter spammers in that the enemy sentinel is just using his laser and no assists.
try doing any of what you just did when he's using amaterasu or any other projectile spammy tag team member while doing his spam. And maybe actually have a better spammer than sentinel in there who shoots faster projectiles. The spam you're showing is lame.

felicia is one of the best sentinel/spammer counters, she can run around projectiles and her hyper where she summons a little cat girl that jumps up and attacks destroys sentinel due to its size.

Not downing this video but i'm sure these tactics are specified for projectile sentinel spammers. I've gone up against a sentinel that took out my entire team by using his lightning ball super spam. he can continually use it with no penalty.

Do you have any tips on how to deal with Arthur/Sentinel spam? I ran into an Arthur today who was constantly spamming projectiles along with the rocket drone assist with Sentinel.

I used that Cap counter for along ass time (well since release but aye). Man, why you have to show that counter? I felt special taking down Sent with Cap's throw into charge, I felt like I was a secret ninja master that had some sort of special non-scrub tech. Now, you've ruined me... I'm am only normal :(

You missed Felicia's "Kitty's Helper" the little kitty goes against Sentinel and you can press down+ D hit with felicia many times so the kitty helper will hit Sentinel xD

I made it just once with spiderman, he fucked up one asistance with Dr. Doom and use my ability to go to the other xtreme of the screen, the rest was a piece of cake, because sentinel it's too slow compared with spidey, deadpool and ryu wich is my team. Sadly i played again with the same fucking guy and got pwned with his sentinel+dr. Doom lol

Aren't you forgetting assists? Handling Sentinel spamming is as simple as air dashing, running under his beams, etc. What makes Sentinel spam difficult to handle is it's coupled with a good assist like Doom missiles.
