I know that Arlington was a very good HS band back in the 80's, but comparing them to a top drum corps is a bit much.

Thanks for sharing this! I was the captain of the '85 and '87 colorguard under the instructor Tom Hart for all who still remember him. My sister was the captain of the '84 colorguard AHS Band - good times! Damn, we were awesome!!!!!

this is the kind of band that would win the national BOA in Indiana. AHS a few years ago so scored quite low at that competition. but the band of the 80s would have gotten into the finals.

this is shocking. the band back then truly looks like a top drum corp. kinda sad that the level of AHS band has plummeted so far over the years. truly the golden age of the AHS band thanks to Bill Sweeney. this is an incredible performance. look how neat the marching is and HOW GREAT THE SOUND IS! truly shocking to hear this.
