  • Nice shoes Chef Batali :)

  • Why Crocs?why not Birkenstock???WTF

  • Is Batali wearing Crocs. To the White House?

  • Alton Brown looks scarey

  • wtf am I watching? is the foodtv budget really this high?

  • yeah shes definitely filipino

  • the whitehouse chef is a filipino.. filipino pride babyy!!

  • cristeta is a filipina go pinoy

  • I like how Batali and Lagasse fist bumbs 5:26 - 5:28

  • @skipper8843 Its the professional and serious fist bump. lol

  • lol presidential honey!! :D

  • why is ramsay considered as good? just cuz of hells kitchen? u seen him cut his finger on ellen? he looks like he has a coke habit, he would never try to become an iron chef becuz in his mind he knows he cant do it

  • @MrPhresh420 Ramsay is a world-class 3-star Michelin chef. In fact, Iron Chef would be a downgrade for him as he won't be the main star.

  • @purdudan you guys clearly have poor judgement, iron chef is no joke u have to have the creativeness of a chef while u cook it and make it happen as well, ramsay looks like the chef that just thinks shit through and has the mexicans cook everything during service, why hasnt he ever been invited to compete in kitchen stadium? lame..

  • @MrPhresh420 I don't see why you have to attack me or Chef Ramsay. I am merely stating a fact: he does his shows by himself with him as the focus; so indeed, being w/ other chefs would be a downgrade for him. Would he lose? Probably, probably not. If you've seen the F Word, Chef Ramsay competes with non-chefs through blind taste tests. Sometimes he loses but most of the times he wins, he doesn't go crazy about it. He has already won his credibility through the much-coveted 3rd star.

  • @purdudan Oh, and btw Batali only has 1 Michelin star while Flay lost his only one in 2009.

  • <3 the, First Lady. She's a community builder, a health advocate, and an overall lovely-seeming woman.

  • im really proud of you chef cristeta cmerford, i am a filipino chef also

  • wow michelle looks tall or the chefs are just small o_o

  • mabuhay pinas!!!

  • does Alton have a heart shaped mark on his face at 1:16?

  • sucks that the food wastn fresh. il would take too long for them to carry the vegies that they picked to kitchen stadium so they just used the vegies from the stadium

  • some shots from another battle has batali holding a huge fish. what episode is that from? and what kind of fish ???

  • @philboudreau138 the fish is called Opah! just look up iron chef battle opah

  • 2:27 LOL CHEF MARIO BATALI's orange slippers and socks LMAO

  • Cristeta Comerford Mabuhay Pilipinas!

    Long Live Philippines!

  • the Chairman cracks me up!!!! XD hahahaha

  • Mrs. Obama makes more of a difference for this nation than her husband does.

  • 5:53-5:56 batali wears crocs yeah im not the only one :)

  • I don't really agree with your husband's policies, Mrs. Obama, but good on you for planting a garden at the White House and being such a staunch advocate of healthy eating. It's really nice to see someone with that much influence drawing attention to such an important issue.

  • man, i want Chef Gordon Ramsay to Challenge Batali or Flay... it would be epic

  • @bestfriendArt I strongly believe that Ramsay is unbeatable.

  • i love iron chef America...especially this episode!

  • ICA lacks suspense... quite boring for me

  • batali's just wearing his crocs. love it

  • "I challenge you to create a meal that makes America go...MMMMMMMMMMMMmmm"

I would've fallen over from laughing if I were there hahahahaha.

  • im actually making burritos and tacos :D

  • chairman could have bought a nicer envelope. just saying.

  • mchan, you rock. Thank you SO MUCH for these uploads......THANK YOU!!

  • omg you gotta love batali and lagasse! They are really making this a battle by one-uping Flay with the tomatillos. I was cheering!!!

  • Michelle Obama announcing the secret ingredient isnt the same as the chairman, he should of just appeared in a crane lifting up a massive swimming pool size basin while shouting "WHITE HOUSE GARDEN!!" from a loud speaker, but unfortunately i dont think they allow industrial size vehicles into the White House

  • hahahaha! what is Chef Batali doing wearing crocs?!

  • i love how mario batali rocks the crocs on white house property

  • LETTUCE! THYME! EGGGGGPLAAAAAAAANT! Love this show.

  • I am a Filipino and I can assure you that we have food identity. We have 7,000 plus islands and dont you think those islands didnt have any own version of their own food? We have so many dishes to offer..not just adobo, spring roll or noodles. Our foods are simple we dont use any spices to make it good we just cook it from our heart . Believe me, visit Philippines and you will be amazed how many dishes you will experience.

  • @SensualCalico Thank You. I will in two years. What foods do you suggest I should try?

  • @hyperbeetelagmailcom

Well, try Sinigang ( sour soup with vegetables and you can choose, chicken, pork, beef, fish or beef bones along with it ) Kalderata ( it's a beef with tomato sauce ) , BBQ dishes, Sweet and Sour Tilapia, Chicken with Coconut Milk, Pork Sisig ( its porks cheeks minced and served with sizzling plate with sunny-side up eggs on top and native lime ) and also our TAPSILOG.. its a version of fast food breakfast with friend rice, eggs, hotdogs, so many variation. enjoy!

  • Cristeta is tiny. The average Filipino height :p

  • @newagepun there are more countries than just Spain and China! i put more in my original comment but the message was too long and i was too lazy to retype it on my itouch, so that part was laziness on my part. anthony bourdain only provides only an hour/ 30 minutes of the Philippines and sometimes the food in a show isnt representing the best of it. (which i am sure the Philippines is not the only one misrepresented) You are most definitely entitled to your opinion but i still stand with mine

  • tears of joy thank u for uploading this u made my sad snowed in night that much better

  • trying too hard

  • Is anyone else thinking battle Candy Cane?

  • damn!hahaha!

  • oMG i want to that garden

  • i love how mario batali is wearing crocs at the white house

  • @talkingwithmeradio i was the plus one at a dinner last year

  • HAHA i love this show its like super over dramatic

  • i love how either Emeril or Mario said "this is how we should cook everyday" cause it's so true, there is something so special and really intriguing to me about cooking foods that you JUST harvested yourself from a fresh garden.

I wish i had such a varied garden in my yard.

  • Batali and Lagasse OMG THAT IS AMAZING. Also I<3 BATALI

  • Michelle is the HOTTEST First Lady EVER

    I WOULD ::::))))

  • @MrStonecold69 I disagree. And I would not, ever.

  • If you think about it, wouldn't taking fruits and vegetables from the White House garden to prepare meals at Kitchen Stadium in New York City defeat the purpose of using locally grown produce? That would be a bigger waste of money than just buying locally, don't you think?

In the reality of television editing, the White House produce was donated to a local food pantry, while more local produce was provided to the chefs in Kitchen Stadium.

  • en español!!! vale madre en español!!!

  • I think i just jizzed in my pants! This is awesome!!

  • FILIPINOS- SIMPLY THE BEST!

  • jesus christ orange socks and orange crocs?

  • @xXKushkinXx Clogs, not crocs, amico.

  • @DaDoc540 No, they're Crocs, gringo.

  • @xXKushkinXx According to his biography on his website, he wears orange clogs. However, Crocs are clogs made of foam resin. I suppose the biography does not want to give out the brand name.

Meanwhile, "amico" is Italian for "friend", similar to the Spanish "amigo".

  • Thank you for uploading the WHOLE episode! Mad props! (Can't wait to get to an actual computer & watch this!)

  • lol the chairman talks like hes doing his own subtitles.

  • this is cool but so scripted!

  • italian knuckle touch!!! woo!!

  • Batali kicks ass with his orange shoes.

  • just to show you, the Philippines has a lot of talent

  • @MRA9700

If Chef Comeford is any indication, the culinary tradition of the islands is in good hands.

  • @Dierwolf2000 you ought to watch that ep of anthony bourdain when he went the philippines and his guide was boring as fuck. Its a complete dichotomy of what you think. There is no real food identity of the philippines. If anything, comerford is going by experience along with her own expertise and interpretation.

  • @newagepun I'm going to have to disagree with you (I have no means to start any fight and i apologize if what i say offends you or anyone in any matter). There is a food identity in the Philippines! however the Philippines has been influenced by many cultures, namely Spanish, but they do put a spin to it. (for example, adobo or menudo). Also, just because a guide is boring on television does not make a place boring. The Philippines has much to offer for a tourist. (although there are places

  • to avoid when going there)

Comerford is a distinguished cook no doubt! but i do see a bit of a filipino flare to her cooking (at least, in this episode)

  • @frickenawsumsauce namely spanish? how about the chinese which the Philippines has been in contact with for CENTURIES before the spanish? I'm not talking about spins of stuff, but something that has long existed before Spain came that even the natives have long passed down. Not adobo, or other certain foods which have different iterations depending on what part of the Philippines you go.

  • @frickenawsumsauce and my point about the guide is that he was suppose to be bourdain's supposed food guide yet there were many guys bourdain talked to before him that showed how all over the place pinoy cuisine is. Hence my argument on not having a real food identity that is distinctly pinoy, not something that is an iteration of a dish from set regions of the country.

  • EPIC!!!!!

  • GO PHILIPPINES!!!!!!!!! GO GO GO

  • I love Batali and Lagasse!

  • Whats the difference between master chef, super chef, and iron chefs?

  • Damn. They make cooking sound so serious -- like a CIA mission. Simply epic. Hell, I was cooking dinner just a while ago while listening to some SimCity music.

  • @fire1202 lmfao

  • This is cool on a mission in the White House.
