WRONG! this is the reason why our country is failing, people can't look beyond the surface of things Do you have health care insurance? If you do then nothing changes for you. The mandate is so people can not game the system by never paying in to but using the ER when they have an emergency or buying health care insurance once they get sick. That would be like having a wreck with no insurance the going out to buy to cover the wreck you already had.
You only pay if you have no coverage at all. not if you don't want it what ever it is? Please find a diffrent source for what the healthcare bill is and is not. As an American you owe to yourself to really understand what something does and what it does not.

@gatorsrocktimt Not Far left at all, however I would like to see where you are getting 15 million, Compaines that drop inviduals have to pay 2k a year as a penalty and even though paying that fine is cheaper than covering an individual there are certain tax breaks a company would loose if they stop providing healthcare. Experts are already saying that the bill will save a trillion dollars in the long run. FYI, the mandate was a Republican idea.
