That's the sad thing about an amazing talent like Ray, themfc. Unfortunately, the music industry doesn't cater to truly talented musicians like him that much anymore. It's become a "cookie-cutter" industry because nowadays, it's way more about the bottom line than talent.

On the other hand, with Ray's devoted fanbase, he'll probably still be performing in twenty years if he wants, whereas whatever played on MTV this week'll probably live on only in a "greatest hits of the 00's" compilation. I like to think he has the fans he wants and deserves.
