Mccain spoke for a long time on this issue, the immaturity of Obama is reflected in the ads he is running focusing on Mccains comment in jest about 5 million being rich. Mccain spoke about the american dream and does not believe in class warfare. I just watched the Saddleback forum in full on fox for the 1st time. Mccain distroyed Obama. Obama, Abortion rates have fallen since Bush has been in office and since republicans started passing pro life laws around the USA.

The Guttmacher Institute, reports a more than 25% decline from 1990 to 2005 in the abortion rate, with the number of abortions down 9% since the year 2000 and down to the levels of 30 years ago.

Further, don't forget that the proposals for a "wind-fall profits tax" are not to get money for "bridges to nowhere" or for "welfare moms". The proposals are to use the money to invest in alternate forms of energy. The world is running out of oil....it's a SERIOUS problem...but the oil companies have been slow (understandably...since they make their $ on oil) to invest in other forms of energy. The government may need to give them a push.

I am not against profit either (I am a business man myself)....however, even in America we have a tradition of regulating the cost of crucial items (utilities for instance). If your gas bill tripled and your light bill tripled while the utilities profits tripled...you would want the state utility regulators to do something...right?

Well if we don't pay more now..our kids will pay more later. Thats a fact. We are spending more than we take in, and we are charging it to our kids. If you are OK with that..then vote McCain.

As for long answers..they are long..but they are Real Answers. I guess some folks just just have a short attention span and prefer rehearsed talking points or sound bites to thoughtful responses.

Did you know that Obama wants to raise the fed tax on gas? Did you know he complains that the oil companies are making "too" much money? Yet makind less off of gas than the fed. government? Who the hell cares how much the oil comapnies make, it's the American way baby!!!

FYI-

The fed government does not "make" ANY money off gas. The 18 cents pr gal federal tax goes to the roads that YOU and I use. While the Oil companies have "profits" that exceed 50 cents per gallon ( double the per gallon profit of 2 years ago)
